Gastro Pub
Nestled in one of Savannah's few remaining 200-year-old-basements, The Ordinary Pub surrounds guests with an experience only patinaed charm can provide. Our gastropub menu features re-imagined pub fare, crafted by Executive Chef, Sean Freeman. Paying homage to the diversity of Savannah, visitors will find culinary influences from the West Coast, Asia, and the Low Country reflected through dishes like our Country Fried Bison, Pork Belly Donut Sliders, and Chicken & Waffle Gyro.
Accompanying our culinary diversity is our bar program, featuring by-the-ounce offerings of rare bourbon, craft cocktails, locally brewed beers, and house-kegged cocktails.
The Ordinary Pub is a gastropub geared toward an adult experience and does not provide highchairs, booster seats, or a children's menu.
We gladly accept reservations of 8 guests or less. Groups making multiple reservations are not guaranteed to be seated together.

The Pork Belly Donut sliders were amazing!! Could have just had that for my entire meal. Bananas Foster French toast was also really good! Great music playing as well and the only downside was we were a party of 2 and sat around a corner close to the bathroom and away from everything.

Wonderful restaurant! We tried lots from them menu, the pork belly sliders were a huge hit as well as the short ribs! Margarita was 10/10! It's a bit warm in there as they keep the door open upstairs so on the 90° days it can be a bit uncomfortable. But definitely a go to for great food, drinks and service!!

We almost missed this spot as it is a door that goes downstairs to the restaurant. It is a larger than expected are once you go down the stairs. We had a reservation and quickly got seated. PJ was our server. He was very congenial, had great feedback, and quickly took our order. Our appetites came out quickly. The pork belly donut sliders were quite tasty without being too much, the lions main was very good as well. Our drinks followed. Dinner came out shortly afterwards. Overall very good. The one thing that wasn’t up to par was communications beforehand. We had emailed with questions and with no response. I also called a few times and never received calls back.

We didn’t get a chance to eat. We didn’t realize the restaurant closed at 3 for a break or that they stopped serving at 3. Our reservation was at 2:45, now if the restaurant closes at 3, why would you have reservations open for 2:45. We got there at 2:34, 4 of us got there first and the hostess asked if the rest of our party was on the way to which I replied yes. That was opportunity number 1 to tell us the restaurant or kitchen closed at 3. We were immediately sat and when we asked about the bottomless mimosas our server said “they stop at 3 so you have 20 minutes to take advantage of it”, so instead I ordered another drink. This was opportunity 2 to say the restaurant closes at 3. There were 5 of us now while we were waiting on our 2 more that got stuck on downtown traffic, it was 3:04 and someone approached the table and asked if we could call the rest of our party to ask what they wanted so we could put in our food order because the kitchen closed at 3, this took us by surprise and I said oh I’m sorry we didn’t know, I told her they were parking and should be there soon, she said okay well I just didn’t want the kitchen to switch over and I don’t know what else because she started walking away taking. A table nearby got their food around the same time and their server immediately asked them if they wanted a box. I called our two other people who were now outside about to walk in and told them to stay there because we were leaving. We had 4 drinks and an appetizer coming to a total of $80.75 with tip, but we didn’t want to feel rushed if we hadn’t even ordered food, or make the kitchen or server mad because we hadn’t ordered yet and we were going to be a while. Maybe change your reservations settings to have a cut off time of 2:30? Just a suggestion, that way you don’t lose business.

Burger was flavorless and small in size. Couldn't really taste cheeses and mushrooms, overall just bland and mealy. Was really in the mood for a good burger and was disappointed. Fries were good flavor and hot. Service felt rushed, but friendly. They reduced bill, but can't undo a disappointing meal.
