About this restaurant

The Old Mill Inn, first built circa 1820 as a grist mill, is a newly-renovated historic waterfront bar and restaurant on Mattituck Creek, located on the North Fork of Long Island. It serves classic American fare with a fresh local twist by Executive Chef Kyle Bloomer. It specializes in pub classics like fish and chips, oysters, cocktails, wine and beer. Currently serve dinner and drinks from 4pm. Please note, The Old Mill is is for adults 18 years and older.

The past and the present collide inside with the mill's original gear shaft standing pride of place in the middle of the bar room, along with the "graffiti" of names written on the original wooden ceiling beams, dating back to the late 1800s. The new owner received the award for Historical Renovation of the Year from the Long Island Preservation Society in 2024.
