This is a definite go to! The food was amazing...
Beautiful place. Food ok, not worth the price, $75 for soup, fish and not so good cake. Basically you are paying for the place and place is very beautiful.
Overall great experience.
The most amazing experience!!! Will definitely come back!
This place is so deceiving. The view is nice. Others are better. Not worth it at all. Bugs crawling up your leg. Service is so slow. Only 3 things to choose from on the menu. Just strange and awkward. And price is astronomical. Not worth it.
Overall wonderful experience
Service was horrible
Bugs everywhere on table
Food not worth the money
The entire dinner was an amazing experience! The atmosphere, people, and service was truly spectacular. Andres O. was our waiter and helped me pull off a perfect proposal. He made our dinner so special and memorable!
Out of this world! Literally transported to another time and place as soon as you walk through the garden entrance. Beyond beautiful and romantic, amazing service!!! Thank you Andres & all for a wonderful night!
Beautiful dinner and views! Highly recommended for a romantic dinner!
Beautiful oceanfront villa with live music. The ambiance was everything you could imagine not to mention with the sunset views. Felt like I was on secluded island. The menu option was limited due to the restaurant is mainly cater to their guests.
Amazing atmosphere and ambience. Food was so good and the best place for a romantic date night
The most beautiful place I have ever dined. Staff was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. The dining process was on the slower side but I could have sat there all day, the ambiance was beautiful.
This restaurant is so unique. It has a limited 3 course menu but the food was very fresh & delicious. The setting is exquisite. Make reservations early.
Absolutely incredible! The atmosphere is so gorgeous and romantic, the food was beyond delicious. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely beautiful grounds. Had no idea what to expect but words can’t describe how pretty the grounds are. Our food was fantastic as well as our service. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Aruba.
This restaurant was recommended to me by another traveler on the island. He described it as a “hidden gem, great food and ambiance”! This couldn’t have been more accurate! The location and decor of this place alone is breathtaking. We did lots of oceanside dinners on our trip but this aaa definitely the icing on the cake. The food was great and they were the only restaurant we visited that actually had something local on the menu (Keshi Yena) besides fish. There’s also live entertainment ...steel pan and singing.
Thank you for a wonderful experience Wendell and team :)
I would highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere & location were amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
Aruba Ocean Villas is just a beautiful place, we sat near the water in a very romantic setting, the service was good, a little slow but I did not mind because it goes with the ambience of romantic, you don't want to have a quick dinner here, you want to enjoy every minute. The food, was ok, nothing outstanding. For me it did not have the wow factor and for me it was overpriced for what it was. Nevertheless I had a wonderful evening.
A special location, for an amazing dinner on the island. The food is incredible! The shrimp Bam Bam is the best thing we had on the island!!
The food was horrible for $100, steak was like a frozen piece of sh&@
One of the best restaurant settings I've ever been to. You sit on the beach or in a cabana. The food was great but not excellent.
This place is so dreamy! It feels like your in a whole different world here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It was a bit of a wait to get our food, but I enjoyed the scenery so much that the wait didn't even matter. This restaurant is tucked and very quaint and peaceful. Thank you Joy for making our special occasion so memorable and doing the best to make our experience an amazing one. We will definitely be returning to stay and eat!!
Great ambience, food and service
What an amazing experience...this place is a hidden gems. I would definitely recommend this place.
A must visit place in Aruba! Amazing experience with nature beauty!
Absolutely the most beautiful restaurant that we have ever experienced. The food and location was incredible! Thank you to Joy who coordinated our dinner reservations. Maria who greeted us, Patrick and staff who took care of making our evening so special. We will now be booking our next trip back to Aruba to stay at this resort. Thank you all again, Laurie and Mark
Website very misleading. We thought we were dining in the overwater bungalow but the only seating was on the beach/sand. Other diners thought same thing. In regards to menu they basically had nothing advertised. They advertise various lobster entrees and had none. The fish entree was dry and overcooked. No prices are listed which all was way overpriced. Dessert was a basic ice cream with Hershey syrup and crumbled Oreos that a child could make at home. Service was slow. Nothing spectacular here. Hands down skip here and go to Flying Fishbone
In terms of food, everything was fantastic! The two-man "live musician" was so atrocious it provided a little comic relief for the night and the two kid soccer team running about ruined the romanticism of the evening. I would totally return again for the food and would request an "undisturbed" ambiance next time.
I’m pretty sure they forgot about us when we sat down because we waited a LONG time to get the drinks we ordered plus the people at the bar were so drunk and loud... kinda ruined the first impression. Calamari & lobster were very average but the steak and sides weren’t bad.
Positive...this is a VERY unique place for the island. We have been to almost every restaurant and the ambiance here is so neat. Definitely paying for that and not the service or food.
Beautiful setting limited menu but well done
The oceanfront location and ambiance was perfect for our special dinner in Aruba. The three course menu seemed light at first, but it was perfect and the food was delicious, The staff was so polite and accommodating. I highly recommend have dinner at The Old Man and the Sea.
This location is very beautiful and quiet. It allowed for an intimate dinner. The food was very delicious. We were impressed by the menu and the drinks.
A "must do" in Aruba! Even if you're not staying in the villa's, the ocean front-in the beach sand restaurant is the most romantic place I've ever been! The service is outstanding! The menu is a set 3 course and changes regularly... the food is divine! But most of all, the views and the ambiance!!! Absolutely incredible!!!
Food took forever to get .. 3.5 hours . Bathroom (1) was very nasty . Food was not great .. The place is very jungle like. And has wonderful views of the water .. Way over priced and take your bug spray .
Celebrated my Birthday here! Everything was excellent, from the service to the food! Recommended. Thank you to the staff for accommodating us!
Unfortunately, you are paying strictly for the atmosphere here, which is beautiful.
The food was not anything superior to local fare at Marina Pirata or Zeerovers.
Now, visitors on the island are down...so the menu was simplified and did not reflect the online menu offerings. So an experience with a full menu might be different.
The staff was friendly and attentive, no issues there...it was just a limited amount of options for what I considered an unreasonable price.
I’m not one to ever Pinch or count coins when I dine...so for me to be dissatisfied in this area is big surprise to me. It doesn’t happen often. I work in the food/service industry / supply chain and understand how food works.
Loved the location. Our table was on the beach, no more than 6-feet from the water. The restaurant is away from the hustle & bustle of Oranjestad offering a very quiet & relaxing experience. The menu is 3-course with several options to choose from & our meals were excellent including the desserts. Highly recommend adding this to your next visit.
The most beautiful and romantic spaces I’ve ever eaten literally as if from a magazine. Breathtaking and the food was excellent.
