    Experience a culinary journey with our Chef’s Choice Menu, featuring a selection of six dishes - Crab and Seaweed Tartlets, Cured Scallops, Truffle Spaghetti & Parmesan, Chargrilled Turbot and Vin Jaune Sauce, Iberico Pork Pluma and our famous Pain Perdu. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available. Please note that all of our dishes are made to be shared. Your table will be booked for 2.5 hours for parties of up to 2; 2 hours 45 minutes for parties of up to 4.

    Booked for the set lunch. The restaurant was pleasant and relatively quiet, the service was good, friendly and efficient and the food was lovely. There was a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts which were varied and gave a good choice. Would recommend.

    On Wednesday, July 10th, we had a reservation at the Ninth. We arrived a bit early and had to wait on the poorly designed terrace. We were unsure whether to sit outside or inside. The tables and chairs on the terrace couldn't be arranged properly, so we decided to sit inside. When the restaurant opened, there were already quite a few people waiting, which we considered a good sign. We opted for the Chef's Choice Menu and the wine pairing. My wife asked if it was possible to have half glasses of wine (in the Netherlands, we call this a designated driver arrangement, intended for someone who still needs to drive), but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. The glasses we received with the arrangement were very meager. My wife's request was unknowingly granted! A negative for flexibility. The staff were openly, loudly, and visibly arguing among themselves about the restaurant's organization. The second negative: the aperitif, Champagne, was served without explanation. Where is the Sommelier? This was corrected by the staff, but in our opinion, too late. The third drawback: the dishes were served with a shared dining concept, which we found rather odd. You were served a dish that you had to serve yourself. This is not what I expect in a restaurant with one Michelin star. The food was otherwise excellent, except for the main course. The bimi with miso was far too salty and, in my opinion, inedible. The grilled turbot was served on the bone, which made eating it very uncomfortable. The salty bimi was reported to the staff, but they literally downplayed it behind my back. My wife could hear AND see it. The non-verbal communication was clearly visible. All in all, it was a disappointing experience. I don't understand how this restaurant received a Michelin star!

    Great restaurant that never disappoints. The food is excellent and good value considering the quality. Plate sharing is a good move and dishes are suitable for this.

    One of the best meal experiences i have had for a while. Each course on the tasting menu was sublime and so difficult to choose the best one. Will definitely be going back

    Food incredible, service sublime, such a memorable meal! There was a father and son eating there who live in the London suburbs and they have returned again and again because it is that good! Just book it!

    We spent a wonderful evening at the Ninth for a special occasion to celebrate a birthday. Never being in London before, choosing the Ninth for dinner was a bit of a wildcard, however, it did not disappoint. It was a culinary delight, and the staff were extremely attentive and engaging. This is a must visit for a delightfully gastronomic experience! What a joyful experience. Highly Recommend.
