   Another wonderful evening at The Ninth. The standard of the food was superb, the highlights for us being the texture and flavour of the Dover sole, and the sweet flavour of the Iberico pork. This is great food served without pretension - just as it should be.

   Absolutely delicious food for reasonable prices. The pasta was the best I’ve ever had.

   Absolutely fantastic but expensive food. The set menu makes it just about affordable but the expensive wine means if you want wine with your meal you should expect a minimum of 60 quid a head. That said, the food is so good that it’s worth paying more for and the restaurant has a lovely little outdoor terrace on the street which is great when it’s sunny. The interior looked nice too. The staff do a great job of making your meal a pleasant one. I would recommend.

   Great value (and delicious) set lunchtime menu - so good I went two Saturdays running. Good choice of wines and excellent service. T

   Very good restaurant with excellent dishes, I particularly recommend it for a romantic evening.

   The Chef’s menu is a very honest, well settled and tasteful experience. Cuisine is extremely balance on all courses, no highs or lows, just very, very trustworthy cuisine. Service was at the same level, which helped to bring the overall experience to such high standards.

   The place was busy and service was good. Some dishes were very good - the artichoke snack was amazing, but the Turbot was not so great and the prices were too high for the quality.

   Disappointed we were not allowed to split the check amongst the couples at lunch.

   Second time to Ninth .. some of the food is exceptional - but bits miss … raw wild garlic covering some immaculate iberico pork wasn’t needed - as visually attractive as the big shiny leaves are they were raw and besides this pork said everything it needed to with the fennel and asparagus .. the take on pain Perdue which is a signature is worth a sit down in its own.. but why charge three pounds for a tartlet? And please moderate the Muzak. Conversation is the reason we go out with friends to eat amd competing with a speaker especially as a restaurant empties is a real distraction.

    Food and service was outstanding! We went with our two teenage sons during the Easter holidays and had a fantastic evening.
