The New York Bar provides the perfect setting for luxury date nights, after-work drinks, pre-dinner cocktails or pre-theatre dinings. The Pre-Theatre menu includes Sharing Stand options such as Peking Duck Steamed Buns, Soft Shell Crab and Cheeseburger Spring Rolls or main course and dessert options. Opt for Buttermilk Chicken Schnitzel Club, Grilled Globe Artichokes (ve) or Fish & Chip Shop Experience followed by signature dishes such as Bea Tollman’s Baked Vanilla Cheesecake or Saffron Poached Pear (ve). Wicked and Hamilton are a short walk from The Rubens at the Palace, making a visit to see the show even easier for our guests. Zero stars if I could. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place had nothing to offer. The atmosphere was dull and uninviting. Staff? Slow, and completely uninterested. The food tasted like it came straight out of a vending machine, and the cocktails were an embarrassment. Save yourself the disappointment, there are countless better places to spend your evening.

This was a horrible experience. Service was hopeless, when there was anyone available. Singer barely sang. Huge silent breaks. Food awful. Over priced nonsense.

Half the menu that was on here wasn’t on the menu in the restaurant. I also stated it was a special birthday and they didn’t have a clue. Also seemed shocked when we arrived. A lot of running around and getting everyone’s orders mixed up for a restaurant that wasn’t very busy. Food was mediocre, toastie and McCain fries. They also just assumed we were there for drinks when again I mentioned on open table that it was for a birthday and that we wanted food and drinks. Probably wouldn’t go again

Got to the bar and no one showed us to the table, no one came to take our order and left after a while due to the poor service
