                                                                                THis was a real find in the City where most venues are expensive for the casual dinner. The Brasserie is on the first floor and has high ceilings and is well decorated with large windows which let in a nice breeze on a very hot day. The food is of a good standard and the wine list reasonably priced and the room has a small bar. The service from Zara was friendly and efficient. Shall certainly be returning soon.

                                                                                Food was very nice, I had fish and chips, the mushy peas were a disappointment, but otherwise very nice. Very attentive and friendly staff, will certainly go there again with clients.

                                                                                We was a large booking so understand there would be delay times but food came cold, we asked for a steak sandwich with no mayo and it came with mayo, the waitress wasn't even sure what meal was what (should really label the food before it gets to the waitress so she knows what is what). Steak's were cooking with random temperatures even though we was asked how we would like it cooked. Just overall was a messy service.,.

                                                                                I booked the Brasserie for a reunion lunch for a group of 12 people, which required a pre-order. When we arrived, a beautifully set, large oval table was waiting for us in a private dining area, with name cards including chosen menu options. Not expected and was an amazing welcome. Zara and Aisha were absolutely brilliant from the moment we arrived. Prompt and friendly service with both drinks and food. The food was delicious and plentiful. I couldn't fault anything and pat myself on the back for choosing The New Moon.

                                                                                The upstairs dining room is a real gem - a beautiful space, nicely set out, intimate and elegant - perfect for a business lunch or a social occasion. The windows overlooking Leadenhall Market are really nice - it feels like being in Paris or Milan. Good menu, although a couple of items were missing. My companion had the pie of the day, which came with seared cabbage and a mash topped with pesto - very nice by all accounts. I had the plant-based burger which was superb. Definitely recommended!

This could have been a great restaurant because the food is very good, but the delivery of the food was frighteningly delayed to the point we had to split up and leave to make a 3 pm meeting (we were seated at 1 pm) before 40% of our table received our food. When I asked the waitress where our food was, she said “Thursdays are very busy “ while the other waitress said that one of the cooks hadn’t showed up. I didn’t want excuses, I wanted our table to be served. There is no chance we will ever book this restaurant again.

                                                                                This was my first time eating here, I will try the Brasserie as been told it's very good however many other tables along with ourselves had very long wait time for our food to come out.
