   Initially when we entered the restaurant the staff were very attentive. The food was very mediocre. I then found a hsir in my caesar salad, which i pointed out to the manager who took it back to the kitchen. They then came back 10 mins later and said chef couldn't see it. I asked them did they not see it which she then said she didn't, although I had pointed it out to her. She then said it may have flown off plate whilst taking to kitchen. I felt embarrassed and asked for bill. A bottle of water was put on bill which we didn't have. The overall experience was awful and I will not be returning.

   Excellent meal for my dad's birthday,first time I have taken my parents and had lovely meal,staff friendly and attentive. They sang happy birthday,which was a nice touch. My parents said they would definitely return.

   It was Mother's Day so busy. Luckily there was a car park attendant on the gate to let us in and advise us where to park the car. Ramped access into the premises was helpful for my mum. We received a warm welcome and the staff were very friendly and polite. We met the person in charge, Cilla, who checked in to make sure we were having a good time which was a nice touch. It was a set menu being Mother's Day so I'm guessing there are other choices on a normal day. The portions were huge and well presented. Our only concern was they were a bit too big, it would've been good to offer a choice of portion size for the main course. It would've been nice, as it was Mother's Day, to offer all mums a little treat, I've known other places offer a mini box of chocs or a small plant to take home. We spent £95 for 2 for 3 courses and a soft drink. I would go again and try lunch on a regular day to see what is on offer then.

   Starters: Buttermilk chicken (Frozen chicken poppers) Bruschetta: Soggy Mains: Chicken Burger dry with no flavour, Lamb shank not tender (hard to cut off the bone) mash over powered with garlic, could not taste the mash. Would not visit again.

   Attended for Sunday dinner, polite efficient staff and the food was very nice

   We ordered an Aperol Spritz at the bar - it was extremely watery, you could barely taste the Aperol or Prosecco. Mainly soda and ice. In the restaurant area the singer, although very good, was far too loud so we were unable to have a conversation with our friends. The menu - a very large font and not so much choice as we have previously had. The menu advertised 'catch of the day' which was skate. We ordered 2 of these and they were very small in size. It appeared that one wing of skate had been cut into 2 portions. The taste was good but the size was disappointing. I would like to mention that the fillet steak was very good and the service was very attentive. After the main course we decided to leave as the singer was too loud. It would be better if the singer was in the bar area. We visited the restaurant as a large party of 10 in March 2024 and had a fabulous evening with you but I'm afraid we are unlikely to return in the near future due to the above reasons.

   Lovely venue, well presented. Food tasty (roast lamb) but unable to cut carrots or broccoli as undercooked, and too much gravy. (Would prefer gravy presented in a separate jug). Staff very attentive. Cannot comment on value as our mother paid for the meal.

   Staff appeared to be in a bad mood and rushed us through our meal. The meat was very chewy and the vegetables very hard. Waiter was not bothered when we complained. He didn’t even say sorry. He just walked away. Meal was expensive for what we got. I will not go back.

   Had a lovely birthday lunch with friends today, our waitress was a delight and the food was very good. Place was buzzing. Really enjoyable

    Food was delicious however service was appalling. They started off by giving us a different menu to the one online , which posed difficulties as one of our party didn’t eat meat and wanted fish . We waited ages for a drink , our starters were wrong and at the end of the meal we had to ask 3 times for our coffees . Such a shame as used to be an amazing place
