   The place is really huge and náuticas decoration, with amazing view of the harbour. We Order a piece of Lobster claw, very good, and delicious whole fish. So fresh, and really good cook. Good wine y the glass. Service was excelent.

   We have been coming here for over 25 years and they have always maintained their high quality food. This year's menu has some welcome addititons. The prices are a little higher compared to other Newport dining spots but are justified by the quality

   Appetizers (calamari and quahog) were excellent. Warm lobster rolls were just ok - didn’t have much flavor. Cod was very good. Server was very welcoming and efficient. We were celebrating a birthday - which was acknowledged by host when we arrived. Overall it was fine but experience would have been better if we had a better table and didn’t order the lobster rolls. We will try again another time.

   Great location and excellent ambiance. Very busy for Mother’s Day which would have contributed to the slow service. Food was ok. The food can be a hit or miss when I go to the restaurant. I keep coming back because of its location.

    Always a great experience at the Mooring when we come to Newport. Great service, amazing food, and consistent! They have the best and most extensive kid’s menu in Newport for great value. Some of their food is overpriced, like Fried Calamari for $19 and it was a very small portion.
