   Our favorite is the Moules Frites featured on Friday and Saturday. A hard choice between those and the fish and chips. Best fries ever. The burgers are excellent. We always try to get a table served by Jake who is an outstanding server. Favorite drink - Abbey Ale but at Jake's recommendation the Cherry Brandy Belgian quadrupel was an excellent alternative

   Overall this place is excellent. We went on a very crowded Friday night. We had thankfully made reservation. Unfortunately we experienced a server that was less than pleasant. After sitting for over 30 minutes after ordering with no drinks or check ins. I was finally able to get our waiters attention. I had been trying for over 15 minutes. Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to remedy the situation he proceeded to argue with me and walked away. Fortunately the manager took over the service and we had wonderful food and a great time. I find that many of the servers today have no clue how to be an attentive server. Thank goodness the manager, Jake, exudes exemplary service.

    The food and drinks are always good here. Service is great, and Monk's just has a good feel to it. Tuesdays are Trivia nights at 6:30 pm. Very fun!! The host of the trivia is really good. The trivia is challenging. Hint: some of the questions involve current events of the weeks, so do a little prep work.

    Very noisy restaurant, super busy as it was a Friday night. The fish and chips were good. The mussels were just okay. We sat at a high table with two chairs, no place to hang wet coats and umbrellas.

    Their beers are a cut above other micro-breweries. The food was a big surprise. Major wow. French fries cooked in duck fat, that's first class. And the bread for the sandwiches was not only excellent, but buttered and toasted until it perfectly crunchy. And when you throw in outstanding service and very cool vibe, it's now my favorite brew pub.

    The ambience was nice, friendly service. I prefer the creme brûlée french toast with a side of 2 scrambled egg whites. The french toast was hard and I did not enjoy it. It was quite expensive for the what we paid. My husband ordered the Bloody Mary. I have never seen such a small container for a Bloody Mary. He said it was ok …shoulder “shrug”. I will not be going back unless maybe for drinks. I won’t recommend to other friends or family.

    The main reason that we have returned so many times was the consistently excellent service we received from Sergio. I guess he no longer works there, and the waiter we had was mediocre, at best. We will not likely return. What a shame.

    Our table was ready for our 3pm reservation. Jake, our server, was outstanding. He was very responsive, helpful in explaining menu items and very personable. The food was delicious and the drinks and beer were really good. We will all return as group in the near future. Thank you!

    We dine fairly regularly at Monk's Cellar and always find the food and beers to be excellent. It is LOUD when the place is crowded, so be prepared for that. But service is always fast, courteous, and professional, and you'll find some really excellent beer at very good prices. We had the Carbonnade Flamande, a Belgian beef stew, the fish & chips with duck fat fries, and the raspberry-lemon creme brulee for dessert. All the dishes were excellent, and the Carbonnade Flamande was particularly yummy. We had several different beers, all of which were superb. The beers really shine here, you can't go wrong ordering your favorite style. Wonderful!

    Always had good food and prompt online service but this experience was sadly the worst. Waited over an hour - had to get up and go looking for service twice. No explanation- when I finally left and went looking for my food a check I asked what was going on was told an large party came in right when they opened. Would have been great to have had an explanation or sort of communication, check in - something. Was completely ignored - trying to give some allowance but did notice a wine sales rep and tasting go on and other bar chatter when it seems like there might have been an opportunity for service. Definitely not going back on my lunch break again

    Wow. What an amazing place to eat at. The food was something I’ve never tasted before and was honestly the best food I’ve ever had at a Restaurant. The drinks were just as much as Buffalo Wild Wings or yard house, but you could TASTE the difference. The server (I forgot his name) was the cherry on top. He just made our experience so much better with his care, his humor, and his personality. We never had to ask for anything because it was already provided. Overall the best place I’ve ever eaten, will be going back, will be recommending to everyone.
