   I booked The Monarch Club for my birthday, leaving work early to catch happy hour, which was listed on OpenTable and confirmed by phone. When I arrived, I was told it didn’t exist after winter and no one came to take our order before 7 PM anyway. My friends were disappointed, I was embarrassed, and the slow service made it worse. No drinks were offered to my friends when the cake came, and no voucher or discount was made to make up with me. A really frustrating experience that ruined the evening.

   Excellent environment, I love coming here and it has become my go-to. I truly appreciate the staff here and appreciate their service.

   Terrible Experience with this restaurant. We had reservations for 8:30pm. They asked us to sit while our the guests before we’re finishing their dessert. So we sat down and expected to be called within 10 minutes or so. 30 minutes later we were still sitting there and we noticed a group of 2 people just walk in and were seated right away. We asked them if those people were mistakenly given our seat. The lady said “yes, we are working on your table” without even a hit of an apology. At that point we were upset and just left, so I couldn’t tell you how the food was. I suggest not attempting to book with this restaurant as this could happen to you as well.

   Staff was very understanding when we got caught in traffic coming into Detroit from the West side. We were a half hour late for our table and they understandingly found a way to fit us in. Staff obviously enjoys each other and their customers. Very welcoming place. Great service! Good food and a fun crowd. It was extremely noisy, but hey - Tigers won their home opener and we were super glad everyone was happy! Beautiful view, too, overlooking Comerica Park. We’ll be back!

   Fantastic cocktails and great service from Gregory. Great decor, and was very quiet until about 7pm; only about six people other than employees were there.

    We stopped there for drinks and small plates before seeing a performance at Little Caesars Arena. It was a fantastic venue and we cannot wait to go back when the weather is better and sit on the outside patio and take in the views of the Detroit skyline. Our waitress was amazing and very helpful. We will definitely be back. Reservations are necessary because the site is small and if you want to ensure a seating, you need reservations
