The Melting Pot - Greenville
Our server was friendly and food was delicious!!
The four of us were here for a business meeting/meal. We were all first timers so needed guidance. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Her instructions were spot on and the suggestions she made were delicious. We’ll be back.
We had a wonderful time eating delicious food!
We always have a good experience at the Greenville Melting Pot.
The server seemed rushed to get us in and out. Her initial greet of our table was “do you know what you want?” She took the drink menu and never offered a drink. We had to ask for it. Salad course overlapped the cheese course. She dropped off the chocolate menu as she walked by while we were eating the entree. She prebussed when we weren’t done, rather than waiting for both of us to be done. Service was ameturish at best. We still enjoyed our experience but could have had better service.
Birthday and Anthony was a great server! Will be back!
Great time. Birthday celebration.
Food and service was really good. It’s very dark restaurant and virtually no cell service and no WiFi or at least one that works. Service was quick.
Wonderful food as always!! Great night. We always enjoy the melting pot.
We have always enjoyed Melting Pot and have come on multiple occasions. I'm not sure if it was the outside weather, but it was extremely hot inside at 7 pm at night. We were both sweating and have never on previous occasions. As the night went on, it just kept getting hotter. In addition, some of the tables have older burners and this is our first time getting one of them. It took a very long time for the warmer to heat up and it would be nice if all the warmers were replaced and worked properly. Our waiter maybe had too many tables as well, since we have never had an issue with service before but it took us over 10 minutes to find him on separate occasions to fill our soda, report issue with the burner, and to pay the check. We will be back and recommend the Melting Pot, but will request to sit in the front room where it is cooler and less tables.
We bought two Groupons to take a family of 4. We called ahead to check in our reservation and make sure that there would be no problem using our Groupon and were told there was not After we were seated and looked at the menu we asked about what menu items applied to our Groupon and were told that they did not accept Groupon on Saturday night.
The restaurant smelled really bad and was dark and small so that helped us not to be as disappointed .
We having been going to the Melting pot in Greenville for many of years. The place really needs a make over. The walls are awful and looks run down. The amount of food you get is also different. We don't get as much as you used to but you definitely still pay the price for it. We looked backed at pictures of the amount of food we used to get and it's a big difference, we actually left still being hungry this time.
Amazing as always. Minus the server who was trying a new guy. She was treating him horrible while training him.
Had an amazing time. We made reservation for a private room, it was so nice! Waiter was well informed, friendly and great overall. We had a lovely anniversary. Food was amazing, drinks were even better.
We always enjoy our meal wish there was one closer so we could go a little more often
I loved the quite atmosphere and the tabletop grilling. Service, food, and price were amazing. We will be back.
The food was great, the variety of items to choose from was excellent. My wife and I took our daughter and her husband and really enjoyed the meal.
I went there with my 10 yr old grandson to celebrate his birthday. I had given him choices and he wanted to go there. We had gone there a few years ago. I plan to take his sister there this coming weekend to celebrate her 14th birthday. We enjoyed it so much that I have decided to make the Melting Pot our go to restaurant from now on. We will continue to make memories as long as possible.
Enjoyed every moment. Like this place because you cook and you enjoy each others come while doing so.
Didn’t start out well. I called to make reservations and the hostess said they were completely booked for the night and not taking reservations or walks?! So I went on open table and there was a reservation for 9. When we got there, the restaurant was open 1/3 of the way full. Food was good. It’d be. It’d be nice if they had timers and list of cooking times on the table so people didn’t undercook their food
Everything was great! I haven't been here in years. I loved the skillet option.
Great food and experience. Our server was awesome!
Our waitress moved us to a different table so my husband could eat gluten free and my daughters eat normal! She was very accommodating and nice! Gluten free options are wonderful!
Not happy! Was not given strawberries I ordered. Food was ok but was very rushed
We had a great meal. Very nice service. Came for restaurant week. We will be back.
Excellent as usual. A very unique dining experience.
Our server was extremely slow which made a long meal way too long
This place is NEVER disappointing! Always love the meal and the opportunity to just enjoy the MOMENT!!
Everything was absolutely perfect. We had an amazing time!!
Our waitress was amazing. She’s been there awhile because we only go once or twice a year and she’s served us before. Food is always delicious. We enjoy the whole fondue experience. Our only gripe is when getting the entree, seems your stuck ordering 3-4 proteins. For me, after eating cheese, salad, and trying to save room for chocolate, I would prefer to order 1-2 proteins. Its a lot of food when you do the 4 course meal. The price has always been a reason why we only go 1-2 times a year. It’s over $100 for two with the 4 course meal, plus drinks, plus tax and tips add to it. But we will be back since it’s good food and it’s fun. We are sad some of our favs have gone away. Please bring back the dulce de leche option for chocolate fondu! We love getting the spicy shrimp and the filet. And the cheddar is yum. We like the dark chocolate with chamboard added.
Everything was good but it was so loud.. and super dark! being my first time at the Melting Pot.. I was just looking to relax and enjoy. I didnt do that at all.. yes I know you have to keep an eye out on timing your food.. but 6 out 10 tables around were using loud cell phone alarms going off every 1 to 2 mins.. it was really aggravating.. they really need to control that a little better..
It was a very nice meal and atmosphere. Our waiter was wonderful. My only suggestion due to our disappointment was an offer for a second drink.
It was a great experience.
Our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The food was great, our favorite was the cheese fondue a JD the beef.
It was our 22nd wedding anniversary.
We took advantage of the restaurant week special. Didn’t particularly care for cooking our own food. Would probably only go back for appetizers and/or desserts and drinks. We smelled like burnt food when we got home. If you like the experience of cooking your own food then this is the place to go.
Food is great and the atmosphere is great too. The dessert was our favorite part. The only negative thing was our server was extremely slow! He took forever to bring each course. We were there for over 2 1/2 hours!
My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. Delicious food & a wonderful waitress!
Server was very nice... however we had very long waiting time between each service. The wait time was about 30 to 45 mins Between services.... but overall service was good...
Our server was the best we've had in quite a while.
