Michael Anthony’s Market Cafe, the sister restaurant to Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana, features casual, trattoria-style dining for lunch and dinner plus an Italian specialty shop. Located just across the breezeway from Michael Anthony’s, we cater to almost all of your culinary desires.
Here we showcase a menu of lighter fare including sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza and smaller portions of our chefs’ acclaimed meat and seafood dishes. We also have Italian coffees and a full bar. The food is absolutely delicious and our server Jen was fantastic as usual! Unfortunately there was a table of four that was extremely loud sitting right next to us. When they finally left, the noice level returned to a normal range and we could actually hear the music! We will definitely return.

Our final night on vacation. We enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and personable. A little on the noisy side but it is a small space. As plant based enthusiasts, would love to see some creative plant based entrees!

We have eaten here several times, sitting at the bar. We have done it with and without a reservation and never had to wait. The service is excellent. The food is wonderful. The ambience is "cozy" and comfortable, although the noise can be a bit louder because we were at the bar. I would highly recommend this place for great Italian food with some lowcountry flair!

Even though we were served in less than an hour, it was a very enjoyable meal. I would have preferred a slower pace. The waitress was very good, but sometimes ignored our cocktails because she was in a hurry. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Its a recommend for a quick meal.

There were two of us at lunch. It was delicious; service was excellent. Then comes the check with a service charge. Seriously? I see service charges for tables of 8 or more; maybe 6 or more; but never for a table of 2 customers. Ewwww. Recommend this restaurant only with the service charge warning.

We had a terrific early bird evening! Drinks were amazing, our waiter Chris was most personable and helpful in describing options. The small plates were all delish especially the broccoli rabe!
