Good band, great atmosphere and service. I wish you would bring back stuffed zucchini!
We dine hear frequently and enjoy our dinners. Though we noticed that on Tuesdays: Kids eat free night with any purchase of an Adult meal, it was not honored. We were a little disappointed that it didn’t get honored since we went Tuesday just for this because we never took advantage of this amazing deal. Also the kids chicken fingers were not very good and over cooked. Not sure what was happening because we normally don’t have that issue. I think we will stick to going later in the week or weekend for dinner.
Enjoyed our outdoor dining experience on a Saturday night. Asparagus tempura appetizer was one of the best fried dishes I have ever had. Crispy, not oily and seasoned perfectly. Hummus appetizer was delicious, served with ample pita bread for the 5 of us, would have liked more veggies accompaniments, as 3 of the 5 of us are heavily plant based enjoyers. The grilled salmon with substituted mashed potatoes and side of asparagus was highly rated by our table. Diners may want to avoid Saturday nights when weddings are taking place, as it really slowed down our service. Alternatively, just go to dinner with friends you really enjoy and linger, and order drinks and appetizers early!
Nice restaurant with beautiful outdoor dining, good food, somewhat slow service.
Happy hour has good deals. The salads we had lacked flavor, they needed salt and a bit more dressing. After about 15min of waiting I went in and got the salt myself. I'm willing to give it another try a since it's a nice atmosphere outside.
Great atmosphere, beautiful location, wonderful for special events, and live music on the patio.
The Reuben Sandwich and the fish in the fish and chips were very good. The fries and slaw just so-so. Both deserts of key lime pie and blueberry lemon cheesecake bar were yummy, especially the key lime pie! Service was friendly and efficient. Very nice ambiance.
Had a reservation for two. Seated in a room with a large party. Server never came to our table, never acknowledged us. We decided to leave. As we walked out, hostess said, "Your waitress is busy with that big table." So why did the hostess seat us in her section? It would be different if we just walked in, but we had reservations. They didn't seem to care that we left angry. Fortunately we went to Umbertos on 108 instead, and enjoyed a nice meal.
Beautiful setting, flexible about outdoor/indoor seating. Plenty is space between tables indoors. Excellent crab cakes and fish and chips. Excellent key lime pie.
Food lacked seasoning and some of it tasted as though it had been sitting out a while - I.e fries were cold and a bit soggy. Great setting, was disappointed with the food.
Great ambiance. I ordered salmon and a side salad. Salmon was dry and over cooked. Salad was wilted/not fresh.
Have been to silo falls several times. Enjoyed it each time. Great atmosphere.
Love the outside seating.
Delicious fresh food, great service every time and beautiful outdoor space. Highly recommend this place!
Had a lovely lunch on the rear patio. The food and service was good. The ambiance could use some sprucing up. It’s pretty austere on the rear patio. The rat trap was not hidden from view, which was a bit of a turn off. Since there are a lot of diners sitting our back a few planters and non-warped chairs would make a big difference.
Lovely on the front patio. Food was generous and tasty.
Good food and service. We were seated near the bar as one of us could not navigate the stairs to the second floor. There were noisy people at the bar who did finally leave. The server allowed reasonable time to enjoy our wine and appetizers before our meals arrived.
The food was very good and the service was very good as well. The prices are in the moderate range and the value for money spent is good. The restaurant offers full meals as well as sandwich options. The only negative is they do not serve bread when ordering from the full entree menu.
The grilled salmon was very good and asparagus tempura appetizer is always great.
Wonderful! The teryiaki chiken with sticky rice was so good, and the appetizer of asparagus tempura was amazing.
Second time there and another great meal. Waitress was the best, but the helper dropped the ball and failed to bring malt vinegar to the table for fish and chips. Had to ask him twice and twice he failed to follow through. Other than that, it was a great visit.
The food was excellent. Love the atmosphere. It's such a beautiful place, inside and out.
Wonderful evening for my daughters outdoor Prom dinner with friends!! Thanks!!
It was very good. There was was little bit of a delay in getting our food, but they were busy because of the great weather and had a fairly large private event as well. Otherwise it was very good and I'd go back.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday and while everything went well, I was disappointed that the restaurant did nothing to acknowledge her. Especially when a server took a cupcake with a lit candle on it to a woman at a nearby table.
Great place with indoor and outdoor seating wide variety of entrees reasonable prices, prompt service. We went with a family group of 7, casual dress, great time.
Great food. The outdoor dining area is very nice and there is ample seating. The outdoor dining is similar to take-out , but it works quite well. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The waiter had to be told to open the wine, the appetizer never arrived, and when the food arrived it was warm, which means it wasn’t pick up in a timely fashion. This included the soup, crab cakes, salmon and the pork katsu. The other entree was a salad, and chicken parm sandwich.
We have dined here several times before with great experiences, but this time was extremely disappointing. We had a reservation for 5 people. They tried to seat us at a table for 4. When I commented about it the hostess said she would pull over another chair. I told her that I didn't think we would fit and she said she would pull over another table instead. She left for a minute, saying she would be right back, but never returned, so we had to pull over another from nearby ourselves. It took at least 5 minutes (and probably more like 10 minutes) for a server to come to our table, and overall the service was very slow. Additionally, the food was terrible. The chicken parm sandwich had almost no sauce on it and tasted like a frozen chicken patty that had been heated in the microwave. The mac and cheese was cold. The chicken fingers were like planks of concrete. We didn't complain only because we were entertaining a guest and didn't want to make a scene, but it was embarrassing that we had brought them there after speaking so highly of it, and it is highly unlikely that we will ever return. Extremely, extremely disappointing.
Food and service were excellent. Like the mix of drinks on the menu. We were seated on the patio and there was plenty of space between tables. Look forward to returning soon.
Beautiful restaurant, very reasonable prices, but food not great, service not great. Not sure I’ll be going back.
Dinner inside the restaurant was great. Very nice atmosphere. Crab cakes were absolutely delicious. Lemon-blueberry cheesecake bar was delicious.
Waiters overburdened. Our desserts never came. This is no longer a restaurant worthy of revisiting.
Great Ambiance, the food ordinary. Disappointing.
Amazing atmosphere, beautiful grounds and awesome food. Drink specials for happy hour were great!!!
Rachel, our server was quite enjoyable
The outside of the venue is very pretty/appealing, nothing special on the inside. We were fortunate to sit by a window and see the outside but the window sill was so filthy that it took away from the view.
Our water glasses were spotty and had lipstick marks. It took about 8 min for someone to greet us and bring water, ask for alternative drink requests.
Menu was ok. We had the fried asparagus for an appetizer, it was the bright spot.
I ordered the pork katsu because it’s something that I hadn’t had and wouldn’t likely make at home. The food presentation was poor. Looked like a deep fried pizza slice with canned gravy on it. The sugar snap peas were good.
My husband got the ribeye. Steak was very chewy. Presentation looked like we were eating at Sizzler vs a nice restaurant. The price for the meal wasn’t outlandish but big miss on the taste. Also, on both dishes the vegetable serving size was poor.
The food took a long time to get and we had empty water and alternate beverage glasses were empty for over half of our meal.
Lastly, when we made the reservation we were asked if it was for a special occasion- it was - our 15th wedding anniversary. No mention of it.
All in all, unimpressed. Will not go back and feel I need an anniversary redo!
My spouse and I had an early evening dinner date here on a Saturday. The weather was rather cool so we had to sit inside. The best way to enjoy the ambiance here is clearly to be at an outside table. The food was pretty good but nothing fancy. We enjoyed our dinner, drinks and dessert but it wasn’t so great that we’d make a special trip from our home 35 miles away just to eat here. It was pleasant and the staff was very nice. The food was good but not exceptional for the $100 meal that we ate.
Was underwhelmed by the food. We got the hummus appetizer, pork tenderloin, and salmon entrees Cute atmosphere and great service
