They advertise themselves as a place for good down home Idaho farm good. And that's what it is. The food is great and tasting homemade and there is lots of it. It's like going to Grandma's ford supper. The menu is full of steaks, pork chops and loins, meatloaf, etc. The food truly tastes homemade. The chicken livers were deep fried, crispy and god. The ribeye steak was great and the pork "combo" of a stuffed pork chop, parmesan crusted loin and bacon-wrapped medallions was very tasty. Sides include mac and cheese, and Cole slaw. Homemade bread is delivered to each table. Our server was the best. Very attentive, friendly and had great suggestions. Nothing fancy. Just really good.

We got in promptly and were seated! Our service was excellent. She had water and took our orders quickly without hovering around our booth! I highly recommend the Breaded Tenderloin it was all meat that wasn't grisly with the right amount of breading,onions,lettuce, and tomato. You will walk away from the table full. The atmosphere is very family oriented and is very peaceful inside a place to take the whole family,but I recommend getting a reservation, especially on the weekends, because they are busy. The parking is easy, which is handicap and wheelchair access. The front door is wide and can accommodate a wheelchair. This is one of the best restaurants in the Quad city area!

We had to ask for butter for the bread provided to all the tables. Two of the three guests in our party had cold food when it finally arrived. They offered to re-heat or dishes which we declined. We were each given a huge cinnamon roll wrapped in plastic, to take home and were not charged for our drinks as appeasement. We don't believe the cinnamon rolls were fresh, because they were to tough for us to eat the next morning.

We do bake our cinnamon rolls fresh daily, and for enjoying them at home, we suggest warming them briefly in the microwave to restore their softness.
