Amazing food. Great staff. Seating felt a little tightly packed and it was very loud. But food and service made up for it. Would definitely come back.
This place used to be excellent. Food was Soso. Nothing to rave about. I had to tie salmon, the sauce overwhelmed the dish. Squash ravioli was not tasty. Cucumber salad head cucumbers that were not crisp and dish was really not that flavorful. Tuna appetizer was OK. Server was OK but too busy not ahead of the game. Had to ask for silverware. Lackluster meal for the price. Will not be coming back for a while
Beyond impressed! Food and service was amazing- top notch and what you would expect from a Starr restaurant. Ate outside and loved it. Felt safe and it was warm on the freezing night. Highly recommend!
Always a great experience
Nash was a great waiter and the phone delicious!! The only negative it is very noisy if you want quiet dining
Great food, price, and service. Quite loud!
Food and service are excellent but the outdoor booths are not very warm despite the heating system
Amazing food, great service, and awesome architecture!!!
Great gorgeous environment great food!
The food was very good. They have a lot of unique menu items that worked well together. Service was also exceptional. My only complaint was that the two person table was very small and we often had trouble fitting all of the plates and drinks on it. I would definitely recommend for a nice night out though.
Three of us had dinner at the Love last night and all of us had great meals. I had the mushroom risotto, and the others had the Tuna and the brisket. We recommends all three dishes. We also each had a signature cocktail and they too were delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning soon.
Outstanding as always. Lovely service and warm outdoor seating.
Superb kitchen, imaginative, dishes prepared carefully, thoughtfully. Great ambience, a little noisy but that's because it was full even on a cold Tuesday evening.
As always, great food, environment, and service!
Everything was great. Dropped my knife and was immediately given a new one without asking. Great service. I wish the bathrooms weren’t so dimly lit, but the food and everything else was fantastic! Will definitely return soon.
Good only thing was chairs very uncomfortable
Food and service is 10/10 as always with the love.
10 out of 10. Server was polite. Food was amazing, came quick, pear margarita cocktail was a 10!
Andrew was our server, and we had the best time! My mother continued to talk about the meal into the next day! I’ll always recommend this restaurant!!! Thank you for a great Brunch!
Thank you for a great Sunday evening meal. A++!
Excellent food and service! Outside seating was great despite cold weather- heaters made the difference. can’t wait to go back!
Great brunch. Nice restaurant for Steven Starr. Jenna was a great server 2nd floor.
Friendly and attentive staff, interesting menu and some really tasty food! Would highly recommend
We had a really wonderful time at The Love on a busy Saturday night, with attentive, accommodating service and a meal that surprised us with each dish. We will absolutely come back.
Excellent service. Food- meh.
We had a wonderful brunch with family who was visiting from out of town. Tbe service was great and the food was so so delicious. We can't wait to go back again soon!!
Amazing food as always
Went for brunch before seeing Hamilton - it was great!! We sat on the second floor and felt comfortable there, crowded but not uncomfortable. Our waiter was excellent, very pleasant and never rushed us. The food was great - highly recommend the ravioli with butternut squash sauce - absolutely wonderful!! Definitely recommend going!!
My egg was raw. The server and manger kept coming to our table, it was clear they wanted us to leave. Breakfast options were limited.
Loved the ambiance and the upbeat (but not too loud) music that was playing. Food was excellent and the added touches for our anniversary were appreciated.
Best dinner spot in Philly by far!
It has slipped. Appetizers ok, but neither of us wanted to eat our entrees after a few bites. Brisket was diced chunks of fat, and chicken had a heavy smell. Unfortunate experience.
Intimate and cozy setting. The Manhattan is worth the $20; absolutely delicious. The cioppino was light on the seafood but the broth was amazing. The fried chicken was delicious but the grits stood out the most. The pumpkin ice cream sundae was perfection. Our server, Rebecca, was impeccable. Great evening. We will be back. Thank you.
Creative menu that nicely reflects the season, beautifully and deliciously rendered, with excellent service (knowledgable, attentive and pleasant, never pretentious or intrusive). Thought it was a very chilly windy late-November evening we chose, in an abundance of pandemic caution, to eat outside in a “Love Shack,” and we found it to be a cozy space protected for the most part from the cold air by the plastic curtains partially enclosing it and the actual heating duct pumping out warm air inside (though on a night in the upper 30s you’ll still want to keep your jacket on). Delightful cocktails, lovely starters, wonderful entrees (ample portions, too) and commendable coffee and cappuccino to conclude the evening (we were too stuffed for dessert, though the options were tempting). Not an inexpensive evening but no outrageous prices, either; we were very happy with the entire experience and so considered it a good value. We’d eaten lunch here once before and also found that experience to be very positive. Highly recommended! We’ll be back.
Appetizers were amazing--buffalo cauliflower-wow. Wish there were small plates so more tasting was available. Entrees only okay-I did not eat 2/3 of pork chop-overcooked, tough. Better like butternut squash-it is everywhere on the menu! Service was impeccable-we were a party of 4.
service was exceptional
Will be unlikely to return. Had a 2 pm reservation. Did not get seated until after 2:15 pm. Ordered lovely drinks, and then appetizers. Apps arrived super fast which was appreciated since we were hungry and hadn’t expected to wait. Food is really very good. Suddenly our 4 entrees arrived - apparently the last reservation is 2 pm and obviously kitchen wanted to close. We had to ask them to take the food away until we were ready.
Our waiter was very professional and sweet but honestly for a lunch over $250 it wasn’t the experience I expected. Just spent last weekend in NYC with 4 reservations and not 1 restaurant made us wait.
The Love was fantastic! Our server was very attentive and was able to accommodate our party’s requests easily. The good was also outstanding-the cheeseboard and ravioli were highlights with our table. I will definitely be coming back again!
The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic as well. From the appetizers, to the main dishes, to the dessert and drinks!! Everything was delicious, we will be going back.
