    We dined "al fresco" in 18th Street. The food was excellent (try the risotto) and the service was even better.

    As usual the food and service were excellent. If you want to go healthy the salmon bowl is so delicious. If you want to hearty the fried chicken or homemade ravioli are so good - also love the turkey avocado melt. The Love is one of my favorite lunch spots!

    Just perfect!!! The ambiance on the second floor was awesome for a group of five girls dining together. We all enjoyed it! Great food, great service! Such a great experience!

    Overall, the food was incredible. The lobster and scallop spaghetti was perfect, the scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted incredible along with the perfect balance of brightness from the lemon and richness from the cream in the sauce. The fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese starter was delicious. The Parker house rolls were disappointing, dry, and forgettable. The Caesar salad was nothing to write home about, but not awful. The chocolate chip cookie dessert was the best, and the little strawberry shortcake birthday cake squares they brought out were as delicious as they were adorable. The berry cobbler was disappointing, the peaches and berries were not cooked through correctly and I actually couldn’t see or taste any cobbler. The ginger ice cream served atop the cobbler was spicy and interesting and on the right track, but not sure it was quite there as a whole.  I would return just to have the meal again, but with a few revisions. The setting was perfect, the charming and quiet ambience we were looking for. The service was forgettable, the waiter seemed like he couldn’t be bothered when we had questions about the menu and was very slow. Again, definitely recommend going for the food and the ambience, just don’t expect to be treated like they care you’re there. It was my 40th birthday dinner and we noted as such in our reservation, which admittedly adds to the disappointment of the lack of good service.

    Excellent menu and kitchen. Slightly overly aggressive waitress.  Disappointing to sit next to a completely inappropriately dressed man  wearing a basketball uniform, including a tank top, shorts, and basketball high tops. Everyone else in the room was dressed smartly casual for a prime time dinner, as was appropriate. I don’t know why the restaurant staff sat the couple between the two corner romantic tables, both occupied by well dressed couples, one of which was my wife and me.
