   The waitress didn’t listen. And was difficult throughout. The steak was fine not special. The overall experience was ok but when you spend £200 you want more than ok. No reason to return. No thank you for coming at the end. We left and no one seemed to notice or care. Disappointed.

   Had an absolutely fabulous meal and well worth the 14 month wait to enjoy Sunday lunch. Everything was great, however one very small thing that I can't help but mention of the fact that I asked for some more gravy and was charged £1? I mean why bother? Just seems a strange thing. Sunday roast should should come with as much gravy as you can handle ?We had initially one jug between 3 people. That aside will definitely be going back and enjoyed the whole experience. Great meal.

   Great place and service very good. Food wasn’t bad but it was disappointing against expectations. Wouldn’t rush to go back good-wise.

   Cher and Julia our servers were great no faulting them, replacing one of the dishes as my aunt didn't like it, it was nice to have gone but wouldn't go back as the I felt the food was overpriced for what you got and underwhelming, also this whole thing about we don't take cash is a turn off 🙏

   Does not live up to the hype We went as a family and have given this score as there is always room for improvement and the lack of vegetables offered with the roast, carrots nd peas only which is fine if you like these. We enjoyed our lunch but really did not think it was worth the wait having book over 6 months ago.

   Amazing experience. Down to earth traditional pub. Attentive staff. Food was incredible with so much flavour. Oysters and duck scotch egg to start. Family style roast to share. Well worth the year waiting list. Will rebook for next year.

   We were a group of 7 and everyone said it was the best roast dinner they have had - definitely recommend. The vegan option was delicious too. Staff very attentive and friendly hopefully can booked in to visit on a Sunday soon.

   First impressions of the highly rated pub i went to the toilets to find both had toilet rolls and paper over the floor . I went again about 25 minutes later still no change we waited nearly an hour for a starter and to be honest after that i lost interest very quickly we were offered free bread and offered free dessert on the house but strangely enough never took anything off the bill ???. Something like that would have encouraged us to give this place a second chance of which i do not think we will return very quickly if we do change our minds . A real shame as we were looking forward to it very much .I guess when your booked up for months in advance to lose one or two customers every now and again it does not really matter to a busy place.
