Amazing food as always, great service! Really nice garden for Al Fresco dining
My favourite pub in East Dulwich does not come without a high price tag on Sunday lunch. I can’t deny I love this pub it’s beautiful inside and the outside space they have created for current restrictions is also great, the food is also very well presented and delicious. That said I do think it’s a few quid over what it should be for each of the plates and the same goes for the drinks, service is always very good and very polite but on this instance we did have to ask for desert menus and then wave someone down when we wanted to order them. If they aligned their prices correctly I’d be back here most weekends but until then it will remain a special occasion pub
Lovely pub and very friendly.
Delicious food service was a little slow to start with drinks but food came out very quick
We had a fantastic lunch - friendly service as always, great steaks and delicious wine and cocktails. The outdoor area has been really well done with coverage and big umbrellas. It’s also tucked around the back so you’re not sat by the road. Thanks for a really lovely afternoon (despite the weather!).
Had a fantastic 3 courses at the Lordship. Highly recommend and we will be returning shortly!
excellent place for eating outdoors, not noisy, and sheltered. Very good service.
The food was fantastic the service especially Paul was amazing. Could not recommend more ❤️
The food is amazing!! The service is good too. Between us with had the hake, the steak and the crab and the croquettes and prawns to start all absolutely fantastic. We also enjoyed the margaritas! It was freezing but we still had a lovely time, it's a bit on the pricey side but worth it, we will come back.
Really lovely atmosphere, very dog friendly. Lovely staff, we ordered starters “tapas style” instead of starter and main which was absolutely fine - croquettas deserve a special mention !
Excellent food and service in a superb garden. Thank you
Pie was Epic... service was good, attentive... but not too attentive.
We loved our visit! We'd been for drinks before in the summer last year, but hadn't had food until last night. The bloody mary sauce that accompanies the scotch egg is one of the best things I've tasted! We also had two medium rare steaks that were cooked to perfection. Staff were really friendly too. We turned up around 20mins early for our table and we were very appreciative of them being able to accommodate us. Will definitely return soon!
Had a wonderful night at the lordship sat outside - it rained but the table was well covered so it made no difference. It was busy with a great atmosphere but social distancing was all in place and felt well spaced out.
Really chilly in the garden so heaters would be a big improvement! Quick and attentive/friendly service, food pretty decent (roast potatoes a little undercooked and cauliflower/beetroot pie a little underseasoned, puddings delicious) but on the whole nice and fairly priced
We were really excited to go out and dine for the first time in god knows how many months. Due to the weather it was extremely cold and there was not enough heating for every table in the outdoor area. I think management should prioritise people ordering food to those who are drinking only alcohol to place near the heaters. It shouldn’t really have to come to this but in reality we are there’s any more money than people who are drinking. The service was not great and we felt like we were ignored for a lot of the night. I had to going get the weight of myself inside which was kind of breaking the rules because we kept getting ignored even though we were calling at them. Food was very good however.
Amazing experience from start to finish, food and drinks were really good, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Nice garden with a good sun exposure, and covered area. Would definitely recommend if you're around! A little gem in dulwich.
So great to be back at our local with friends. The perfect Friday night which felt even more fabulous given the months of walking past it’s closed doors! Great efficient service and warm welcome, as always!
Nice place . Staff are lovely . Beer choice is small but good
So great to head back to the Lordship!
Fantastic food, great service and as usual they couldn’t do enough to make our experience relaxed, fun and exceed our expectations.
Looking forward to visiting again very soon👍.
Fabulous food and even better service
Had a great experience in the sunshine. Excellent friendly service, food was delicious
Wonderful to. E back on a sunny evening. Food was delicious as always!
It is a lovely clean pub that I used to visit a lot. Drink choice is great. Previously I have been very pleased with the vegan option (yes there is always only one), I’ve had a delicious vegan pie and vegan burger before. However this time I was very disappointed. For £12 I got a couple of slices of mushroom in a bap with grated vegetables and a spoon of guacamole with some chips. It was quite bland and very expensive for what it was. Quite disappointed as I chose this pub for the previous great vegan choices.
Admittedly late (8pm) on a Sunday for a roast but at £19.50 it would have been nice if it was hot as opposed to tepid. Good flavours and produce though. Excellent staff and service. Portobello mushroom burger could use some development as at the moment it very much is just a mushroom between two bits of bread.
It was our first time dining at The Lordship Pub. They had a great Sunday roast!
Great food, lovely garden and fab service. Good to be back
The Lordship never disappoints and does everything as well as possible. Sparkling wine delicious and cold, roast beef rare and delicious and puddings generous and scrumptious. The staff are delightful and I had a lovely birthday meal in the garden which is very pleasant indeed.
Very pleasant, staff very attentive and food quite delightful!
So lovely to be out again - great service, welcoming and lovely food.
We had a lovely lunch and drinks at the Lordship.
The staff were friendly and attentive, even though it was fully booked outdoors and they were dealing with other customers and bookings.
Food was tasy, and filling. Chips were great. It was on the pricier side for a pub but you could tell it was proper fresh food - all being made fresh in the kitchen, with only a short menu to choose from. There were veggie and vegan options.
You get what you pay for and we got good, fresh, well-cooked food that came to us quite quickly!
Venue seemed very Covid safe - all staff wore masks at all times, we had hand sanitizer offered to us on arrival, and checked in at the door.
Looking forward to visiting again!
Always have a great time at The Lordship. Our favourtie pub!
Lovely food and great outdoor space in the back garden. Look forward to going back soon!
Brilliant set up at the back with heaters and lots of space.
Service fab and great to see all the same staff
Lovely food. Great outdoor dining. Lovely staff making you feel very welcome.
Great food and service. The wine selection is very good. Highly recommended.
Lovely garden but a lack of heaters (there only 2 heat lamps on a side wall) means it’s freezing by 8pm. Will be fine once the weather is warmer but in the mean time wrap up if you want tub stay later.
Great pub lunch! Always very good food and a large selection of drinks available. The people in the pub are very pollite. Top quality pub!!
Lovely staff, amazing food, amazing atmosphere considering COVID restrictions, chips are to die for
Lovely pub, nice relaxed atmosphere not too rowdy. Covid precautions in place and very safe enjoyable experiences 🙂. Good selection of drinks and food.
Good food and very Covid secure. Wine list was quite pricey
