The Loft at Trader's Point was worth the drive. Looking forward to taking family there again in the future.
The food is delicious, and it's pretty nice that it's farm to table, sourced from their farm or farms around the state. Our waitress was outstanding. The atmosphere was lively. I will definitely visit again!
Food was incredible! We came here for our anniversary last I was here and this time for my last prom. We started with the meat and cheese board which is amazing but very filling for two people so we split the pork tenderloin. The entire meal was decadent but contained healthy organic food, everything we ate tasted like summer it was so fresh. Definitely, a dinner to splurge a little but worth the price.
It's quite the drive for us but worth it. Excellent food.
My husband and I wanted to try something different and new for an early afternoon. We enjoyed a nice quiet afternoon on the trails before going in for our lunch reservation. We arrived 15 minutes early. They were ready for us and seated us immediately. Our server was so friendly and cheerful. Our food and drinks were so good. So much flavor and creativity to everything on the menu. We really recommend this place and will be going back!
Birthday for one in party. As always, food was delicious and our server was very attentive. Always a pleasure to dine at Traders Point Creamery.
We've been to The Loft a couple of times, and each time we felt It was quite good although somewhat pretentious. (We're pretty food-conversant and still had to google a couple of terms on the menu.) The server was very good, very knowledgeable and quite responsive. Overall, I'd say go there once in a while for a special occasion and for a change of pace, but realize it's pretty pricey (about $75 per person all in). Be sure to get the cheese board as that's there specialty.
Great organic food
Very good food but on the pricey side. Service was excellent .
Food was amazing!!! All the flavors complimented each other very well!!!
Amazing Sunday brunch. Elegant rustic with amazing, creative locally grown food. Coffee was fresh and just right. Enjoyed the Italian donuts as a starter. I highly recommend
Excellent food. Slow service, really slow. Will try again.
Food is so fresh and so good
Great food, neat place. Be sure to have a glass of milk, if you don’t you are missing out!
Get the cheese board (5 cheeses plus honey and a fruit spread)! It’s a must! Pork, chicken and walleye were good (pork was best). Loved the garlic mashed potatoes and wish the brussels that come with the chicken could also be ordered as a side because they were absolutely fantastic. The chicken needed a little more pesto (which was sublime). We had flan cheesecake and affagato. The affagato is great for someone who loves an after dinner coffee (which I do!). Don’t be afraid to come here with your kids-it’s very welcoming and we brought our 5-year old. 2 people in our party are gluten-free and had no trouble. The only downside was on the day we came, the service was slow.
We visited Trader’s Point for the first time as we were driving through Indiana. It was a great little restaurant!! The food is organic, farm to table and very fresh. Our meals were delicious! We had Sunday brunch: biscuits and gravy, omelettes, fruit platter and Italian doughnuts. It is average price for a sit down restaurant. You can even take a walking tour of the farm. My kids enjoyed seeing the cows and chickens!
Had a thoroughly tasty Loft salad and my husband was very pleased with the ham and bean soup. I followed the salad with a tartine - wonderful combination of flavors but the base was a bit soggy. My husband had the whitefish and declared it delicious. We were very pleased with our wine selections. A shared slice of apple pie was the only let down of the meal. It was just meh.
Good meal...great atmosphere. Cheese board and rolls are not to be missed. Grass fed steak is my favorite. And finish it off w a banana split.
Brought the family in from out of state and had an amazing meal. The setting and the service are great and the food is always delicious. It's a must when entertaining friends and family from afar.
We always enjoy our time spent here! It makes the occasion like a holiday!
our service was extremely slow. Our waiter was very kind but it seems that the restaurant did not plan for staff for Easter brunch. Additionally, we were seated directly across from the door to the outside and it was freezing cold and snowing that day. My parents are 87 and we all were very uncomfortable with the entire dining experience.
I have heard good things about the Creamery at Traders Point but unfortunately, we just did not have a good experience. I was so looking forward to dining here and I do not understand how they can have a table that is immediately in front of the only exterior door that all patrons have to go in and out of. As you can imagine, it was extremely busy on Easter Sunday so we were freezing!
Easter brunch at the Loft is now our family tradition. This is our third year. Love it!
Knew of this place for years, but found the opportunity to go for Easter Brunch. Truly enjoyed our first-time experience there and the food was excellent, as was the service.
Easter brunch. Although very busy, food and service were still great.
The food was fantastic and the service was great. It was Easter Sunday so the noise level was more than usual but not unbearable. Great experience!
Hands down our favorite Indianapolis restaurant!
Taste is good, overpriced, small portions. Dinner did not come with a salad or sides all is ala carte.
This was my first experience with The Loft and I was not disappointed. I ordered the meat and cheese tray and even though I rarely eat meat, this tray was amazing. I loved that the staff explained, in detail, every item on the tray. For my main course, I had the vegetarian soup and mac-n-cheese. The soup was delicious and more than filling. My friend had the chicken which was cooked to perfection and presented nicely.
We went on a Friday evening and there was live music. I was a little worried about how loud it would be but it turned out to be something I didn't need to worry about. He was a great musician and vocalist and the music just added to the atmosphere. The wait staff was outstanding and on top of everything, especially the lady who was refilling the water.
I had read some of the reviews and some disliked the cost of the times. I did not find them to be as expensive as others have posted. Of course, I looked at the menu beforehand and knew what to expect. The prices aren't any different from a nicer steakhouse, however in my opinion the food was so much better. I couldn't have asked for a better first time experience. I hope to return!
Best and cleanest food available for dining out!! We drive well out of our way to eat here whenever we have an opportunity!! We live in MI. We've planned weekends in Indy just to eat at The Loft, and it's the only restaurant we at all weekend long!!!
Palm Sunday with family and out of town relatives. A nice venture away from the private club Sunday brunch to experience a unique menu and atmosphere, great service and food. We found the ordinary became extraordinary. Expensive but a nice treat every now and then. Thank you to The Loft.
We have always loved TPC ever since we first discovered it a few years ago! The food is exceptional, the service is fantastic, and the restaurant is so gorgeous! The creamery is great for birthdays, brunch, graduation dinners, etc. Thank you for your great service and fresh food!
Excellent, unique menu of farm to table food. Especially interesting flavors in the vegetable side dishes. The cheese plate was wonderful as well. Will definitely be back.
This is place that cares about the food and drink served to the diners and you leave having had an experience not just a meal! Excellent as always!
Lovely evening with delicious cheeses, homemade breads and interesting, satisfying salads. Plus superb ice cream!
Trader's Point Cremery is a gem - fantastic healthy and beautifully prepared food in a country setting with great views. Ben was an exceptional waiter!
Took my 19 year old niece home on spring break for an evening out! Had a wonderful time exploring g the menu!
Always great food and amazing service. The rotating cut of steak and garlic potatoes are perfect. Don’t miss the homemade rolls and honey butter with your cheese tray. Banana splits are a MUST here. Live music on Friday nights but the real treasure is being sat on the deck area. Quiet, romantic, and our favorite place for time together.
Great meal - again. Love this place. Great service and good farm to table eating!
We all had a lovely time! Drinks/ food were great. Only thing...if we'd known, we wouldn't sit at the busy area. Next time, we will request other tables. We will be back surely!
We had a great dinner here. We had the cheese board which is one of the best we have ever had and we have been to France and Italy. They have excellent cheese and dairy here. We both had the ribeye and while we both thought it was undercooked slightly, the taste was outstanding. I really liked the mashed potatoes but my wife thought they were a bit runny. We ended the meal with ice cream. The salted caramel is as good as any ice cream we have had. We bought a pint to take home. In the past we have found the service to be spotty but tonight it was outstanding. The whole experience was the best in the last several times we have visited the Creamery.
