   Coffee and tea great, service to support drinks on point. Avocado toast needs improvement, topping great, toast tough. Great Dessert, compliments of chef. Be back soon.

   Our experience fell short for what is expected from Montage. The croissants were hard, and the plating presentation was non-existent. I plate with more thought and care at home. Come on Montage, you can do better!

   The Montage Laguna Beach and their restaurant, The Loft, have upped their game in recent years, from valet service to the lobby for drinks, to The Loft for dinner, and we’re delighted! Service in all three locations was excellent, and made us feel so welcomed and happy to be there. Dinner at The Loft was excellent, with delicious and creative dishes with fresh produce, meats and seafood, and the wine list was superb as well. This Montage has been a favorite place to stay since its opening many years ago and we’re glad to see that they’re serious again about delivering an excellent experience.

   The Montage is a delightful experience, the ambiance on a summer evening can't be beat. Our food at The Loft was delicious, my salmon in particular, but a couple of our guests had to send their filet back because they were not cooked as ordered. However, they comped us all our sides and non alcoholic drinks (we had kids with us) so that was a very generous "make good" and I was happy with it. It's pricey but for "once in awhile," it's worth it.

   Very good staff and nice atmosphere. The food was excellent. We requested outside seating but we didn’t get it. However, our dinner was lovely.

   Delightful dinner overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Delicious food (we had a variety of shared appetizers) and excellent service. While pricey (what you would expect at a resort like the Montage!) it was value for the experience.

   Nice greeting and very fast seating procedure, but our server was just not on his best day. He tried, but I don't know if he had too many tables or what else. Management was not around to supervise or offer support. The food was good, but the presentation could improve by 100%.
