   I hadn’t been there in almost 20 years. The food was exactly as expected. Make sure you get Michael Woosley as you waiter, he has been there forever and is incredible. We will return again soon

   Two larger parties made for a noisy dinner, which was for my wife’s birthday (party of two). Can’t have everything.

   Special occasion was Christmas dinner—food was nothing special and the Beef Wellington and soups were cold. Server was very strange — seemed out of it! The only time he seemed nice was when he gave us the bill. The Lodge needs to step it up!

   We had reservations for 5:30 we where a little early and the person at the desk said it was OK he could seat us but then another employee that sit's guest's came and rudely said we would have to wait till 5:30, When we where seated the waiter we had was AWESOME and the wonderful food definitely made up for the rude employee.

   I’ve had dinner at Black Butte Lodge twice in the last three months. Each time, the wait staff were friendly, professional, and prompt. The food was well prepared, and of high quality. The menu is varied and features local ingredients. I will definitely return!

   The Lodge is an old friend to us because we have been coming here since the early 70s. In the early years our kids were the noisy ones in the restaurant and now it's our grandchildren. The food, the menu and the service has cycled up and down through these years and in the last few years is back up. The building is getting old and tired. It is time for us (the homeowners) to reach in our pocket and pay an assessment to scrape and rebuild it. We did a great job with the Lakeside and we can do something special for a new lodge restaurant.

   This is always one of our favorite places to eat when we're at Black Butte. They're always very accommodating for my husband who has very many food allergies and sensitivities. We are so appreciative of that!

    The meal was great and so was the service. This is such a great location for a nice dinner. There was even a wedding going on that allowed for some fun people watching. Great experience.
