Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

    Excellent service and quality products used. Very tasty and good value. Only slight down side was dogs barking and a smell of dog when you walk in the dining room. I understand you have to be dog friendly these days but if your dog barks at other dogs then maybe a dining room is not the best place to take it.

    We received a warm and friendly greeting by all staff. I had requested a table by the window which was granted. The service was very attentive. The food was delicious, hot and well presented. I had the halibut and would thoroughly recommend it. My son had the lamb and he said it was delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

    All good apart from the size of the scallop starter at £16.95 it was tiny compared to the other starters. The main course were excellent though
