   I had the mac n cheese bites AND the honey bbq sausages to start because, it's Friday so, why not!! Both delicious 110% recommend. Followed up with the gammon, swapped the chips for mash. Fantastic. Have booked to come again on Tuesday

   Very nice food , great friendly staff. Plenty of parking we were accommodated with a high chair. Altogether very pleasant experience. Thanks

   Lovely service really could not fault! The food was delicious too, only downside is there was only 2 high chairs so we had to wait for one table to leave before we could get one & the wait on food was on the long side, which is not a problem if you’re not in a rush! Will definitely be returning though 🌟

   Really great food, the lodge is q lovely place. Service was pretty slow but the staff were friendly. Would recommend to others and come again too.

   The staff were superb! The menu was questionable. There were NO vegetarian options on the the menu so the old menu was retrieved and vegetarian options were pointed out from there. No children’s menu on the new menu so yet again the old menu was brought out where the children’s options were pointed out. The menu was very restricted with NO salad option available. I came here with my partner approximately 6 months ago and the menu was much better. I have to say the staff were outstanding! When we booked as a birthday party the restaurant got in touch straight away and said they would try to arrange something special for the birthday girl. They brought out a lovely chocolate cake for her dessert with her name and age iced on. It was a really special touch but I’m not sure I would return if the current menu remains in place.

   The starters were lovely and fresh, but the chips on the mains tasted of fish and when the staff were asked about this they stated that it was fresh oil. This could not of been the case and this was not acceptable especially if one of us would of had a fish allergy

    Couldn't book the time we wanted (5pm) because it appeared that the tables were fully booked so went earlier (4pm). There was nobody else there all evening! It felt a bit awkward. Food was ok, nothing special. Not somewhere I'd go again.
