My dinner was fine but my dates dinner was really salty and not very good. Service was excellent but place is over priced.

Excellent restaurant--simple modern ambiance, excellent service, and excellent cuisine --perfect for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.

There were only a few tables during brunch service, but the service left a lot to be desired. The server did not write anything down and got one of our orders wrong. Rather than take the dish back, he just brought a side of what was actually ordered. This was not the right way to handle the mistake, and on top of that, he still added the upcharge to our bill. Cool.

I have food allergies, but the restaurant still messed up the order after assuring the dish was safe to eat. I will not be returning here due to safety reasons.

We arrived at little Beet on a tumultuously stormy night and were greeted with sympathy, towels and help to remove our dripping coats and hats. Plenty of time to settle ourselves away from windows and doors.
Waiter was pleasant, patient and solicitous of our sopping wet condition. He was as knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients as any chef. Our choices were crispy salmon and short ribs along with roasted sweet potatoes. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious. We wil be back.

Great Happy Hour for Vegans. Meat eaters do not apply for Happy Hour. No Happy Hour eats except 4 Vegan and 1 Vegetarian. Two cocktail specials and three wines. Everything is just $7 a piece. The food was more than enough to share between two people. Very tasty; excellent preparation. drinks were strong.

Well the starters were good, but I think the chef then left as the main course was pretty bad...
I liked this place, but both our main course dishes were very average and underwhelming.
I don't think I would go back, which is a shame as the menu, ambiance and service were all fine, but at the end of the day a restaurant needs to actually deliver good food....

Our server was attentive and friendly. Our drinks were tasty, albeit $15 each. On a side note, we arrived at 6:01 and they would not extend the happy hour special to us that had just ended at 6. They didn’t have to, I know, but still.

Our food was thoughtfully created but executed poorly. Short rib was dry and my wife needed to use the hoisin sauce on her noodles to make the meat palatable. My salmon was bland although crispy as advertised.

Nothing was awful, but nothing was great. A hefty bill later and its safe to say I don’t think we will be heading back to The Little Beet Table.

We chose this restaurant because I am both dairy and gluten free, and their menu was super accommodating of that. We wanted to stop by for a quick dinner but we were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours. It appeared that there were only 2 servers, so service was incredibly slow. We sat at our table with no acknowledgment for almost 20 minutes. Our drinks took another 15 to arrive, even though the bar was about 20 feet away, and the dining room was not full. The food was decent and we appreciated the healthy options, but our experience was overall not good because of the inattentiveness of the staff.

Nice downtown location with upscale casual atmosphere. Service was exceptional and friendly. Very attentive to needs, requests and questions. Menu is farm to fork with fresh veggies and many healthy options. The chili poppers were delicious as was the roast chicken entree. Would definitely return.

The food at the restaurant was good. We have eaten at this restaurant in New York and D.C. and had a pleasant experience. However, this location had dirty floors and gnats. Unfortunately, this took away from the experience.

Appetizers were amazing... Broccoli Pizzette, guacamole, and the shishito peppers. My friends loved their salad. My taco was good but the flour tortillas was a little dry and bland. There was a lot of bugs flying inside but overall everyone loved the menu and experience.

Excellent food! High quality and choices that accommodates all meal preferences. I am a vegetarian and my husband is not and we both had plenty of options. Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and this will definitely be one of our to go restaurants when we visit Chicago!

We've been here several times but will probably not go back. The menu hardly changes and there are no specials. The chicken dish I had was so salty as to be almost inedible. The chicken on the salad my wife had was so tough she could not eat it It was left on her plate and the server didn't inquire as to if there had been a problem. The food is expensive. Service otherwise was OK, but the food was just well below par and not at all worth the price. They will not be around long without some major changes.

Fresh ingredients, nicely prepared, satisfying portions. We came for brunch but will definitely return to try the lunch or dinner menu. The gluten free pancakes are the best I’ve had.

Food was delicious. Hummus and Beet Salad were great. Pork Tacos were a little too salty...hot sauce was spicy and delicious. Service was awesome...great job Sara (with no "h" ;-) Outdoor seating was great for lunch.
Would recommend highly.

I brought an out of town colleague here; I picked it because she's a vegetarian and this is a "vegetable forward" spot. All of our food was delicious. We especially liked the whipped ricotta appetizer that we split. We sat outside on the patio, which we quite enjoyed, and had excellent service. The cocktails were lovely; very refreshing and surprising. I'd definitely come back.

From start to finish it was a real treat. Jourdan greeted us at the bar. Her enthusiasm ran thru our whole visit. She recommended a fabulous rose wine...we weren’t planning on spending as much but she said it was yummy...and it was. She suggested the whipped ricotta with rhubarb.....WOW...best thing I ate during my two days in Chicago. We then ordered what I came to the Little Beet Table for....the tacos with cauliflower..mushrooms etc...she told us we could order one extra as we didn’t want 6...so we had 4 ...DELISH.
I live in Minneapolis...my friend however lives just a few blocks away...she had not been there before..She will be back soon with friends...When I make my next trip to Chicago I will be there!!!!!
Thank you Jourdan....

The service was very slow, one entree and one side were not even warm when served, and the meal itself was over-priced. It has the potential to be an extremely good restaurant but many aspects need closer attention.

I had made a reservation for 8:45 and called at 8:40 saying that I was running late and wanted to make sure it was okay if I got there by 9. The woman who answered said they closed at 9, but if I hurried they would still take me. I hustled over there and slipped in at 8:55 apologizing. The restaurant manager and server could not have been nicer. They didn’t rush me at all. I had a delicious mushroom and black bean burger on a GF bun. It was fantastic! Side of roasted sweet potatoes. I can’t say enough about how they made me feel — like a valued customer. ❤️
