Come visit our newly updated location at 1031 Literary Road, in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. With a brand new kitchen, we are serving entrees, appetizers and sandwiches 6 days a week. We are open for lunch Monday through Friday and Happy Hour is from 3 - 6 pm.

A favorite of area locals for many years, we are located in one of the oldest buildings in Tremont. We have worked hard to preserve the character of the historic location and offer an intimate atmosphere, inventive cocktails and a variety of wine and beers, chef made entrees and appetizers.

Spectacular as always! I've always had a great time, and this time didn't disappoint! The Nashville Hot Chicken was amazing, and my date's short rib was out of this world.

Great craft cocktails and service. Ordered chicken shawarma. It was a sandwich shop. I thought it would be a plate so I was a bit disappointed. Great appetizer selection. Will definitely go back.

Creative cocktails. Food was decent but not spectacular. Service was helpful but missed some little things here and there. Ambiance was really good, dark and modern. My only major complaint was we were seated by the front door, which was a problem every time the door opened and let cold winter air in. Since it was a Saturday night the door was being opened every few minutes and we were blasted with arctic air! Would definitely go back but will look for a seat in the back instead of in the front bar area. Summer shouldn’t be a problem.

First time visiting this quaint little joint in Tremont neighborhood. Had an early 4:45p reservation before going to a show and the place was packed by the time we left. Everyone loved their choices: mussels, ravioli, salad, rib eye sandwich, and even grilled cheese! Definitely adding Literary Tavern to our Tremont favorites.

Food was great as always. Super Noisy in the back room though - a large party behind us was very loud. Food service was great but server seemed either overwhelmed or non attentive. Took quite a while to get a glass of wine after food was served. Heard nothing about any specials(did not ask, but she did not speak of any either.) We brought another couple there for the first time so their impression was loud and average service - not what we raved about prior to going that night Love the LIT - great food makes up for the noise knowing it was just one night

We stopped here for lunch. We had the best server I apologize I cannot remember his name. One person in our party just wanted to have coffee and he is very picky. He said it was the best coffee he has ever had on a trip at a restaurant! We have the Caesar salad have chicken and a side of brussels sprouts and they were amazing This place has a great vibe, exceptional service and delicious food. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Cleveland.

This is a repeat regular place for me and I always love it and recommend it to others. Small snafu this time - kitchen seemed to have prepared only 3 of our 4 meals. The 4th arrived well after all my friends had finished. Waitress made up for it though and still a great experience overall.

Overall, it was a really great experience. The environment is very cool. The service is attentive, the food was exceptional. Only complaint was that the back room we were in was so loud even with just a few tables in it. But I definitely will come back, and I recommend the place to others as well.

First time here and we all had great meals! We were on the patio so the sound was low. Not sure how inside is. My one negative - and a very very small one - is that the website menu was partially different that the actual. Still great food and beer/drinks so not taking away a star. :) We will be back because there were so many tasty things on the menu we need to try. Servings were big: fries and Brussel sprouts were easily shared between four of us, for example.

Great little place, remodeled beautifully. We had lunch on the patio, so nice! Surprised it wasn’t more crowded which was great for us. Drinks were awesome, (Tom Collins like) food (green goddess salad and Shwarma) was delish. Definitely a hidden gem, we’ll be back.
