Get Lei'd in Chinatown at our tropical cocktail lounge, located across from the iconic Hawaiʻi Theatre in the heart of downtown Honolulu, where Hawaiʻi's beauty and traditions are translated through food, drink, folk, and flowers.

Our elevated pupu menu offers a whimsical nod to the neighborhood by showcasing the flavors of Honolulu's multicultural Chinatown district.

Celebrating a special occasion and need a lei? No worry, beef curry! We have fresh lei available.

21+ over the cocktail bar and lounge. IDs are required for entry.

We have a 15-minute grace period for all reservations. Please send a message through the OpenTable app if you are running later than 15 minutes past your reservation.

We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender. Drinks and food (Salmon Dip & Beef Sliders) were very good. Next time we will try to get a reservation outside.

One of my new favorite bars in the world! They mix well crafted cocktails with little hints of joy and fun (hint: order a cocktail that lists 'luck' in the ingredients). The food was also superb. We had the octopus special and we haven't had octopus that good since our trip to Portugal for our honeymoon. The inside was tender, the outside crispy, and the flavor was to die for.

Nice Hawaiian island vibe ambiance but the music is too loud! It's a bit puzzling because the atmosphere is supposed to be relaxing, but the music is loud, like music played in a club rather than Island style music. It's unclear what the theme of the place really is. However, the waitress pays good attention to our order, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced ($15-$20). They even offer a menu with inexpensive drinks if you want a cheaper cocktail.

I was told this was a speak easy. Walked in and it was a full on club. Music so loud we had to yell. Service was ok, more like what you would get at a club. The cocktails weren’t very good at all. Especially the last round we had. We choked them down because we paid for them. Not the experience we were looking for. The sliders were better than we expected though

I have heard so much great things about this place and I had to check it out. One clarity I’ll make for everyone is although the option is booth or bar. The big red booths are for 6 people and you want to specify what seating area you want. I didn’t expect to be sitting in the row of chair area instead of inside. The staff was really great! The music was a vibe. Overall I look forward to coming back and sitting in the lounge area.

Love everything about this place.. the only reason some stars are missing is due to the tall turquoise chairs. If u have a dress and are short in stature, chairs are not functional! Hard to get in and out of and I almost knocked the table down a couple times because of that. Other than that, this place is perfect for good drinks and a good fun spot!

friendly and fun place. service was a bit slow, and it was a slow tuesday night too. we didnt get water for a while . and had to ask for refill . pupu menus is lack luster. overall still recommend but dont have your hopes up.

AMAZING! Great venue, beautiful interior and exquisite craft cocktails for every palate. Bartenders were friendly welcoming and can't wait to come again. Shoutout to Carl our awesome bartending making us craft drinks with for three completely different palates!

Such an awesome first time at The Lei Stand!!! Nicole was a wonderful server and all the staff was so friendly!!! The vibe is great 😊 the other patrons were so nice and everyone was really enjoying themselves!! I highly recommend the salmon salad so so ono!!! $103 dollars will get you 4 cocktails and the two smallest appetizers; pork rinds and salmon dip with rice crackers. Uncomfortable seating for four or less at the high tops. Lovely ambience and service. Didn’t have enough money left over for dinner, but it was a fun experience.

The food and drinks were great, as was our server. They really should notify anyone making reservations that they have an hour and a half time limit. If we knew this when reserving, we still would have gone. However, when you are informed they need your table at a given time when being seated it really kills the mood.

A place for Drinks and Pupu's Pricey Menu for the grinds. The Wagyu served should be a better quality and cut. Caviar should be served with something else than a spoon Service was excellent!

We were a little sad that the table set-up inside was different. The circular booths were uncomfortable. It looked like the menu was bigger a few months back. But what we had was excellent--the salmon dip, karaage chicken and the tsukune sliders.

Overall pretty good. Love the vibe. Food is pretty good. This was my second time there. Only negative was that our server was very distracted when she came to our table to take our order. Then she would take away our drink glasses before we were finished with it. Most disappointingly, when we asked if there was another table we could move to to extend our stay beyond 1.5 hrs, initially she said maybe there is standing room outside but we would have to see. Once our time was up, we asked again and she said they were fully booked and suggested "Is there anywhere else you want to go?". I have never had any server at any restaurant or bar suggest we go somewhere else. That's like turning away future business. She could have simply said sorry, we are full but look forward to seeing you next time. She was not a great server.

This was our second time at the Lei Stand. I enjoyed the Lei Stand. Love the food and the drinks. Vibe is perfect! Only thing was when we were seated for our 7:30PM reservation hostess said she needed the table by 9PM which was weird because when I made the reservation there was no notification regarding a time limit on reservations. Also by the time 8:30PM came around, there were 6 tables open. So that was weird.
