   To be honest our experience at the lawns wasn’t that great. The restaurant was cold, my husband never got his cauliflower cheese, and my chips were super crispy….. The Goats Cheesecake and The Burger were lovely though. Unlocked Wi-Fi would have been good.

   The food although was good we thought was overpriced. Our table was booked for 8pm and by 9.15we had,had 3 courses. Very quick service. The wine was fine, but could have been colder. Staff were lovely.

   An improvement on the previous owners - now more a restaurant than a pub. We were there on a Monday lunchtime which was quiet and not many other diners. The menu was short but interesting and the food well presented and enjoyable. We will go again and look forward to getting to know the staff and offering better.

   Good very good large portions. Nicely presented. Staff attentive and very helpful quality of food good Would certainly go again when in area Nicely refurnished

   We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Easter Sunday. The food was well presented and delicious. We had alerted the restaurant to the fact that we would be celebrating our daughter's birthday a few days early, but they made no mention of it and we felt uncomfortable about reminding them as they were busy.

   The Lawns has had a re-vamp since the last time I was there (pre-Covid) and I think it meets the criteria 'if it ain't broke, don't mend it'. Customers who were enjoying a drink in the garden were constantly walking past our table to get to the bar and, by the end of the evening, we were wishing we'd been allocated a table away from the door as it was turning cool. My sea bass was good but my husband and one of our friends has fish and chips which was overcooked and dry. We all found the menu a bit uninspired - two of us don't like gnocchi which limited our choices as two of the mains came with gnocchi and nowhere near as much choice as on the sample menus on the website. On the plus side, the staff were all very friendly but, as somewhere to eat, I don't think I'll be going again - there are just too many good eating places to choose from in North Norfolk.

   Really enjoyed a lovely meal as a family here. We had 2 starters and 3 mains and all were high quality. Enjoyable evening

   Booked for lunchtime, and eat in the conservatory. Had stuffed lamb breast which was very tasty, presented immaculately and all that I hoped for. But the portion was meagre and I had to ask for a side order of chips to feel in any way satiated. Also I found the desert menu unappealing. However, the ambience and the helpfulness of the young waitress was great.
