The Lamb and Trotter is a brand-new city pub and restaurant with a hint of the country in its look, feel and food offering. More than your average city pub, we offer warm, personal and friendly service in traditional surroundings in the heart of the city.

Our beers and wines have been carefully selected by our very own sommeliers who regularly hold tutored beer, wine and food pairing sessions. Our menu has been meticulously created by our head chef Danny who is absolutely passionate about his use of fresh seasonal produce.

Have eaten here twice now. Food is good and freshly cooked. Prices are reasonable. Menu is a little limited (had lunch both times so may be more varied at other times) and is very standard pub fare - meat pie, fish and chips, burger - but lots of cleared plates are testament to the quality of both the ingredients and the cooking. Would go again.

Great place for a get together with friends. The restaurant is downstairs so it’s bit quieter than the busy upstairs pub which suited us perfectly.

The service from the start was excellent. We weren’t hassled or pushed to leave. The food was also delicious and great value for the money. Would definitely return.

Really good, unpretentious food with friendly service that was very attentive with a BANGING dessert (the layered cake). The vegan risotto was amazing. Highly recommended.

This deserves to succeed quality of food and the range of dishes were terrific what set it apart was the value proposition which was very unusual for the city, great wines at realistically priced. Very handy location for St Pauls and the Museum of London, The ground floor bar also had pleasant layout and ambience. I really look forward to returning to eat again I do hope it is soon “discovered” as it is a large space and needs more diners to get the restaurant atmosphere really buzzing .....

Great quality food. It can get a little noisy since it’s also a bar, but can’t complain with the quality of steak I had. It was easy to get to as well bring it very close to St. Paul’s station, overall it was a great place and I’d definitely try again.
