   Vraiment déçue de l’expérience. On est arrivés pour manger à 20:30, les cuisines fermées à 21h, aucun problème, on commande nos plats. La serveuse était sans cesse sur nous, on s’est fait débarrasser nos assiettes à peine finie. Elle est arrivée avec la facture, on avait pas fini notre bouteille de vin. Ils ont coupé la musique, nettoyer toutes les tables alors qu’on était encore là avec deux autres tables. Pour une facture à 300$, c’est limite !! On ne recommande pas.

   From the moment you arrive the place is chaotic. Parking is stressful with people trying to wave you to spots and giving you strict parking timing limits. We had an electric car, hoping to charge. The charging spots are really poorly located and when we plugged in finally they weren’t turned on (took another 10 min to start charging). It is not complimentary. We were a party of 6 and ordered most of the limited menu. Tacos are a do not order. Wet, sloppy and they did not refund despite our informing them it was inedible. No kids menu so our 3 year old had a 27 dollar burger. Ceviche is not ceviche, don’t order. We were there for my mom’s birthday, food took over an hour to come. They did not bring a dessert for her but did automatically add a 22 percent tip. Really loud music, not really appealing to families. Menu is basically bad and very over priced. Not returning.

   The view is truly the best part! We went around 7:30pm and got a chance to see the sun set. The sexy margarita was tasty, but the rest was incredibly mediocre for prices that rival the drake and other PEC restaurants. Salmon ceviche was okay, chips were stale, mango was not ripe and the salmon was not cut properly. The pizza was not good at all and weirdly sweet, and the steak priced at $46 had no flavour whatsoever. Our waitress was very sweet though. What I found the most strange is our expensive wine glasses were served in banged up plastic cups, the same ones provided to guests in the pool. Not a good experience when you’re paying $21 for a glass of wine. Overall the view was nice but this place is such a money grab. Will not be returning.

   Feels like a Toronto beach club. Had a couple incidents of the staff being not very professional which soured the experience. Went to use the pool for the day and asking the man at the front where to check in he points us towards the back of the property and says “they won’t let you in if it’s full”. That’s kind of obvious, no? Not a very nice welcome to a place you’re planning on spending the day and eating dinner. Later went to check the lakeshore, there is an adjacent property with stairs to the lake whereas the motel itself only has slippery, mossy rocks which don’t seem very safe. We walked in the direction of the adjacent property, not knowing that it was not apart of the motel, and loudly in front of the whole restaurant an older blonde lady yells “don’t go over the fence!” First of all we weren’t planning on going over the fence, secondly I found this to be a very brash way of handling something so minor somewhere that’s seemingly trying to cultivate the “private club” vibe. Seemed like approaching us and quietly informing us that the next door property wasn’t part of the motel instead of loudly embarrassing us in front of the entire restaurant would have been a better way to handle it. Lastly the pool closes at 6pm and lakeshore/ fire pit area closes at 10pm. Not sure what motel guests are supposed to do after 10 o’clock, sit in the parking lot? Overall the food was good but not worth Toronto prices to basically sit at folding tables and eat small portions.

   Portions on the food were great! Food tasted good as well and we had a lovely server. Did find the front employee who was to be greeting and seating (not sure if it was a manager or not) but needed some customer service notes. Myself and another couple stood in line for 15 minutes waiting for someone else to come talk to us as this employee acted like we were not there… didn’t say one moment, someone will be with you soon nothing. Just stood there on a lap top. I used to work in the service industry so I totally understand busy times but at least acknowledge your customers. Very odd! So glad our server was nice. Hope they don’t split tips!

   Great location overlooking the lake. Solid food menu. Dog positive on the patio. Unfortunately, too many mosquitoes!
