   The view of the lake was gorgeous! The staff was very attentive and always made sure that our water was filled. Unfortunately, the food was not great. I had the halibut and it was average not a ton of flavor. It was swimming in a white couscous soup with green oil and no flavor. My other half had the filet mignon it was covered in a lumpy unflavored gravy, his mashed potato’s were very good but the filet had no flavor. We also tried the artichokes and calamari and were unimpressed.

   What a great spot to have a relaxing meal. Overlooking Deer Creek lake and the mountains in the distance. The service and dinner were at the same level as our surroundings!

   First time visiting The Lakehouse and our experience was not great unfortunately. Made reservation for our anniversary and was excited to try this place out…where else can you dine on the water? Location is great, ambiance was nice and can’t complain about service. The food, however, left a lot to be desired! My husband’s filet was gross, smelled bad and the meat texture was mushy in parts and hard in others? He did not eat it. I had the ribeye, I am used to fatty cuts, but man this steak was all fat and I didn’t get many edible bites. So the cuts of meat, for the price point, were not great. In addition, two of the already minimal entree items were out and we were not told that till it came time to order…our reservation was at 5:45 and nobody was in the restaurant? Lastly, my meal came different than advertised without explanation…I did not get the Gruyere cheese and cauliflower, instead, just a plate of zucchini, squash, and carrots drenched in butter. We told the waiter the steak was not edible but nothing was done, not that we expected anything, but someone could have addressed his steak issue. We did not stay for dessert. It was just not a great dinning experience and we would not recommend going here for a special occasion. Might be nice to eat appetizers on the deck…but that’s it.

   Fabulous spot to catch a mountain sunset on the deer creek reservoir. Food and drink were great, service was attentive, patio space was nice, and the availability of propane heaters as the sun goes down was a bonus as the temps drop. Very nice view over the reservoir and spectacular sunset.

   The service here wasn’t as professional as I expected and the food lacked flavor. I was overall happy about the location, but disappointed with the full experience.

   Food was delicious! The customer service was great and the outdoor patio is wonderful. I got the Chicken Ranchera and it was so good! Very tasty. My husband got the ribeye and said it was great! The scones were really good too.

   Service was excellent, food was great and beautiful view and ambience. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back once it gets a little warmer to sit outside.

    Took my family for dinner last night and it was fantastic. Andrew was our waiter and was wonderful. The food was great and service was great and view of the lake made it an amazing night
