Located on the shoreline of Deer Creek Reservoir, the warm and contemporary ambiance paired with the locally focused cuisine provides a casual yet upscale dining experience unlike any other in the state. We pride ourselves in supporting local businesses and showcasing the incredible meat, produce, liquors, and beers the state of Utah has to offer.
Our mission has always been to provide a true “multi-sensory” experience. We accomplish that not only by highlighting our location but by providing dishes that have stories attached to them.

Great restaurant at the water's edge on Deer Creek reservoir indoor or outdoor seating. 4 of us for dinner this evening. 2 had the filet mignon steak and 2 the halibut and shared orders of calamari and brussel sprouts (you need to try these). Our meals were prepared just right, the steaks prepared medium rare as requested, and the halibut cooked so to easily flake into bites with a fork, all nice portion sizes and very tasty. For dessert, we shared a piece of key lime pie and caramel cheese cake, a great finish to our meal. Service, too, was great, there when needed without hovering. And the restaurant being at the waters edge provided a nice, relaxing view. Definitely worth a visit.

Disrespectful Management – Gracy Turned a Minor Issue into a Major Problem Our recent visit to this restaurant was completely soured by the behavior of the manager, Gracy. What should have been a simple, easily resolved issue turned into an unnecessarily tense and uncomfortable situation—entirely due to how she handled it. Rather than calmly addressing our concern like any reasonable manager would, Gracy completely overreacted. It was as if she was more interested in flexing authority than actually resolving the issue. Her tone was aggressive, and her body language made it clear she wasn’t there to help—she was there to dominate the situation. The whole interaction felt like a power trip on her part, not customer service. It’s incredibly disappointing when a manager lacks the basic people skills and emotional maturity to de-escalate a situation. We weren’t rude. We weren’t confrontational. But Gracy escalated things and left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. A manager sets the tone for the entire staff, and unfortunately she let her team down.

Food; Great. Service/kitchen took 30 minutes before any food came to our table. They had a large to go order and it 'stopped' any food from coming out to any/our table. "Party foul"

Always delicious, with exception of this day. Peppercorn sauce on steak ;looked like gravy served over biscuits. No flavor, certainly not peppercorn, and not an appealing look. Steak nicely done/ Hope chef will reconsider this style of sauce. I will return again since this is an un usual complaint about the food.

The view of the lake was gorgeous! The staff was very attentive and always made sure that our water was filled. Unfortunately, the food was not great. I had the halibut and it was average not a ton of flavor. It was swimming in a white couscous soup with green oil and no flavor. My other half had the filet mignon it was covered in a lumpy unflavored gravy, his mashed potato’s were very good but the filet had no flavor. We also tried the artichokes and calamari and were unimpressed.

What a great spot to have a relaxing meal. Overlooking Deer Creek lake and the mountains in the distance. The service and dinner were at the same level as our surroundings!

First time visiting The Lakehouse and our experience was not great unfortunately. Made reservation for our anniversary and was excited to try this place out…where else can you dine on the water? Location is great, ambiance was nice and can’t complain about service. The food, however, left a lot to be desired! My husband’s filet was gross, smelled bad and the meat texture was mushy in parts and hard in others? He did not eat it. I had the ribeye, I am used to fatty cuts, but man this steak was all fat and I didn’t get many edible bites. So the cuts of meat, for the price point, were not great. In addition, two of the already minimal entree items were out and we were not told that till it came time to order…our reservation was at 5:45 and nobody was in the restaurant? Lastly, my meal came different than advertised without explanation…I did not get the Gruyere cheese and cauliflower, instead, just a plate of zucchini, squash, and carrots drenched in butter. We told the waiter the steak was not edible but nothing was done, not that we expected anything, but someone could have addressed his steak issue. We did not stay for dessert. It was just not a great dinning experience and we would not recommend going here for a special occasion. Might be nice to eat appetizers on the deck…but that’s it.

Fabulous spot to catch a mountain sunset on the deer creek reservoir. Food and drink were great, service was attentive, patio space was nice, and the availability of propane heaters as the sun goes down was a bonus as the temps drop. Very nice view over the reservoir and spectacular sunset.
