   We were late by 10 minutes to my reservation, tried to phone and it went straight to voicemail which basically said “we don’t answer the phone” so not sure how you’re supposed to let the restaurant know? When we were arrived, it wasn’t that busy and there were lots of empty tables however the unwelcoming waitress told us we had lost our table because we were late. When I told her we tried to phone but no one answered, she had no response and didn’t offer any apologies or explanation for this. Not sure why our table of 3 was given away when there were plenty of other tables available? Another waitress then took our drinks order and asked us 3 times to repeat the order as she couldn’t remember it; fair enough if she was newly trained, or if it was a big party (there were only 3 of us) but again she offered no apologies for this. The fries were nice but the drinks are overpriced. We wanted to try the cocktails that they advertise on social media such as having bubbles/smoke etc. but these were out of stock. The only ambience or sort of entertainment was a woman who kept repeatedly checking if the microphone was working every 2 minutes by singing a single line of a song - we left before she actually finally got into it! This brand presents itself as high class and quality, but the staff’s attitude and lack of preparation by entertainment are far from it. I never leave reviews but I just wanted to warn others - Don’t bother paying for overpriced juice.

   We had a fab time at The Lab. The cocktails, staff and food were fantastic. Our only 1 criticism is that it seemed quite brightly lit which we felt changed the atmosphere and ambience. Other than that one minor thing we had such a lovely evening.

   Booked at 9:45 and received our first drink 1 hour later......An hour to wait for a drink! Once received, the cocktails (All four of them) were so acidic you could barely taste anything else. Really disappointed. We left after taking a couple of sips and wasn't charged thank god. We certainly will not return.

   Great service, good enough food, not as sophisticated as I thought it'd be in terms of ambience, but overall, good. Would I go again? Perhaps not, but it was good for a visit.
