    Excellent menu. Bernardo outstanding, informative and witty. Excellent presentation and quantity of food. Our server was attentive and took the time to divide the salad among three people. Consider this restaurant among the top in the county.

    Calamari was great, dessert was great! Prime ribeye steak was not worth the price. Very thin and like a steak that should be on the menu at Black Bear dinner and not commanding a near $70 price tag. We eat prime ribeye steak at home and this was not even close to the same quality or flavor steak. Service was spotty, things were coming at odd times. Coffee showed up and cream and sugar did not come until 10-15 minutes later, and I drank half of my coffee already. Nothing terrible, just not a good value for a $300 tab. I can't say I would come back or recommend this restaurant.

    Well, I will start out by saying. The salmon cakes were amazing. But after that. The ball just rolled down hill from there. My girlfriend can't eat pork. That's why we chose this place. They have a mushroom gravy. Well, they served he the sausage gravy. Also, I asked for the remoulade sauce that came on my burger. To be on the side. Well, it was not. I returned the burger, and not even 2 minutes later, my burger was coming back out to me. This is where it gets even worse. All the Chef did was put everything on a new bun but then added mayo to it. There was still remoulade sauce on my burger, egg, and avocado. So once again, I had to return the burger. It is crazy how they will just reuse mistakes. 30 minutes after my girlfriend got her food, i was still sitting there waiting for mine. Then, after all of these constant mistakes. I got 20% off, but not even for the whole bill. Just parts of it. This is the worst experience I have ever had and will never return to this establishment. Knowing they don't care and they just reuse food has been a mistake. I would be embarrassed as the owner to have this going on at my establishment.

    We had are after valentine date night here February 15 food was good we had lunch I wasn’t too impressed but willing to try breakfast nextime service was fantastic. A little disappointed on dessert the bread pudding was meh the cheese cake was good not the best I’ve had but good portion small and the crème brûlée was real good. Overall good experience will try again different items

    Service was fast. Pear salad was plain, two thin slices of pear, toasted nuts, no dressing. Sea bass with green beans and risotto was good, sufficient portion. Cheesecake was good. Paloma cocktail was nothing special. At $187 for two people it was overpriced.

    I was absolutely blown away in awe by this hidden gem. I’ve literally passed by this place several times and never thought to stop by to eat until today, Valentine’s Day and boy was I impressed. The ambience was out of this world GREAT. The food was muah; perfect each bite. Our waitress was awesome, the noise level was to a minimum and the cleanliness was amazing. Overall, my boyfriend and I had an excellent dining experience at The Kitchen @ Stonebrier. If you’re looking for top tier food, friendliness, affordable dining and relaxing environment, I totally recommend you to check it out.

    When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We told the hostess yes we had a reservation and gave them our name. When taking to be seated, she tried to sit us at the bar . I inquired about a table and she told me because the reservation was just made they did not have a table available . I told her that the reservation had been made the day before through open table. She told my husband and I to wait at the bar and she would see what she could do. She was able to get us a table but was a little embarrassing for my husband and I.

    Wonderful dinner. My husband had the prime rib and I had the filet. We started off with the seasonal bruschetta and also enjoyed clam chowder and French onion soup. We enjoyed a nice Pinot noir based on the recommendations of the staff. All in all a great dinner!

    Celebrating a very longtime friend’s birthday with lunch. Lovely setting, immediate seating and attention. Great variety of menu. The only disappointment was the prawn salad. Just a lump of mixed greens as though out of a prepackaged mixed greens bag. A few cherry tomatoes and cubed up cucumber. The three large prawns were chilled, but had been steamed or boiled too long. Quite tough. My guest’s corned beef sandwich was well presented and very much to his liking. The bruschetta appetizer was very tasty and to our mutual liking. We were allowed to remain with no rush to turn the table. Coffee with a little dish of whipped cream (by request) and a beautifully presented slice of cheesecake for the birthday boy! Very well spent visit!

    My husband and I went to the restaurant for Stockton restaurant week. I ordered the seared scallops which were absolutely delicious. My husband, however ordered the Coq au Vin and his entrée was not as enjoyable. The portion was rather small (thigh and a small leg). He said the flavor was delicious but complained that there was very little chicken. Also He was also not impressed with the single glass wine selection. We were here about 2 months ago and the same thing happened: I loved my entree, him not so much. I hope I can convince him to give it one more try.

    Everything was good, but our server was a little lax. She never brought one person at our table her drink. She asked for Prosecco and she was going to check if she had it. She never returned and we finally flagged her down and said she didn't have it so she ordered regular champagne, but never got it. One person asked for an end cut prime rib and he never heard if they had it and he didn't want regular prime rib. We had to find her again so he could find out and then order something else. We have had other wonderful waitresses there. This one was just stretched too thin.

    Took my daughter for her birthday, it was her first time and she thought it was amazing! They treated her so well, gave her a birthday card with 25% off her next visit. The food was awesome, the music was great and our server Amanda as so attentive. My husband purchased the quinoa bowl and paid $9.00 extra for shrimp only got two very small pieces, just seemed a little steep. We frequent your establishment as often as we can and definitely will be back.

    We were so disappointed, as this has been one of our favs for awhile. The food was good but the service was dreadful. We were seated at 7:30 and were greeted by a gentleman in a suit… never sure who he was although he was very interested in the bottle of Napa Cab wine we brought. Asked for a taste, told us some patrons had brought the same bottle in last week. He opened it, poured me a taste, I said it needed to open up and that we would like a cocktail first, he offered to decant it but never did. We mentioned twice we would like a cocktail but it never happened. Finally 20 mins in we finally got a cocktail ordered. An old fashion for myself and a dirty GG MARTINI for my husband… another 12 mins later at least it arrived. Mine was basically a glass of burbon over ice with a cherry on a skewer, and un drinkable as it was so strong .( I am a burbon drinker btw) By now we had been seated for at least 30 mins. Still no water although we asked twice, nor bread which we had also requested. The first server served our bread and water to the table beside us. The waiter apologized . It eventually showed up. We ordered a bruschetta starter, the fixed menu for my husband ( prime rib he requested an end cut and was assured that was all that was left) and I ordered the short ribs and a salad. We finally got our food at about 8:30. And then as desert was included with my husbands meal it was brought out 5 mins after our entrées finally arrived . I told the server that I had just got my dinner and to bring it back in a bit. In the next 15 mins it was attempted to be delivered to our table3 times, each time by a different server . I finally just kept it. I never leave a negative review but when I pay over $200 for a meal for two which only included a cork fee .. I expect better service. On a positive note my short rib was delicious, but my husband never did get his end cut.

    A last minute decision for New Year's Eve, we were plesantly suprised with this fine restaurant. The staff was attentive, friendly and knowledable. The food was beyond our expectations, with many varied choices on the menu and a prix fixe menu as well. It's a beautiful restaurant with a moderate noise level and live music for weekends and special occasions. A great find.

    They had one of their events that evening which maybe the noise was slightly more than usual. It was a bourbon and whiskey pairing and really looked like all were enjoying themselves. Got to make it to one of these events soon. Always love dining at The Kitchen.

    As always, excellent service and great food! I'm glad the guitar player was a little quieter than usual! Plus, the bartender mixes mean Old Fashioned's and Dirty Martini's!

    My girlfriend and I shared the Ahi tuna sandwich. The kitchen did a split plate. It is a tuna steak, not tuna salad style. It come with fries or salad. We got plenty of crispy fries that were so good. We also ordered the brussel sprouts. They were delicious and there was a generous amount. We would order the same thing again. It was a good size sandwich and we had some leftover and took home the brussel sprouts - they were too good to leave there!

    What a beautiful space. My wife and I were in awe at the decor, including three mechanical pulley-system wine racks that descended from the ceiling with the push of a button. The service was top notch, from our server to the gentleman who seemed like he was running front of house coming in to greet us and check on us. Food was great overall, with some high points and low points; the French onion soup was rich and flavorful, but did not reach our table hot. The arugula salad was amazing, albeit some of the knife cuts on the apples were extremely inconsistent. My wife’s short rib Mac gratin pasta dish was the highlight of the night, though there was more fat served with the short rib than preferred.. and my dish, the pan seared duck breast, was amazingly delicious, but the technical aspect of the dish was off; the duck breast was unevenly cooked cut very sloppily. The butternut squash gnocchi was amazing.. I’d order that on its own! Our desert, the Donut bread pudding, was flavorful but much too dense. I’m being a bit critical, but overall our experience was An extremely enjoyable one and I am 100% positive my wife and I will be back again to continue trying everything on the menu!

    We have always love The Kitchen at Stonebrier which is why we were there for a birthday brunch. We were so disappointed with this visit. It was the first ever time we had a poor experience. We ordered our food with drinks and an appetizer. The drinks came ($18 for a shot of tequila) after some time, then the appetizer and immediately, before we could enjoy the appetizer we had our main courses. Food wasn’t nearly as good as we’d had before. Might just have been an off day. We will go back but not for awhile.

    I have nothing to say except it was perfect. Our server, Riley, was gracious, friendly and went beyond expectations. We were three old friends meeting after a long time. We all went away happy, promising to return. The food was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful.
