   Nice pub, beautiful garden. Nice and quiet inside but waited an hour for dinner and when it came it was barely warm. The food also did not taste good - standard was poor. A member of staff was rude and abrupt with us when we complained, and made us feel like it was our fault that they had screwed up. Received better service from my local takeaway afterwards. I would avoid this place. Definitely not worth the money or time.

   What a fabulous place this is! The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent in every respect. The presentation was like fine dining, the taste of everything was delicious and the menu was so good we'll be back soon to try again with friends. Thank you!

   Really nice service and welcome. It was my Dad’s birthday and the chef made a birthday plate for us which was a really special touch. Thank you.

   Very friendly reception despite our muddy boots and dog. Lovely table overlooking the garden. Great range of lunch options from hot sandwiches and small plates to main meals. All food ordered was delicious. Ambience lovely, 5 tables on our room and noise level was quiet-think it would also be pretty quiet with all 5 tables filled. Pub is immaculate. Will be back-thank you.

   Great Sunday lunch, one of the best roasts we have had in the Surrey hills, will be back. Dog friendly too, great atmosphere in a beautiful pub.

    We have been going to this pub on country walks over the past 50-years. It is friendly with decent food for the price.
