My friend and I had the best meal at The Jimmy! We loved the atmosphere and decor and food was interesting and delicious. The Lune pasta was our favorite, just the right amount of sweet! Everything was delicious and full of flavor. Cocktails and wine were great too, we’ll be back!

I took my daughter out for dinner to the Jimmy, and we had a wonderful meal. The service was outstanding, as was the food. From the burrata appetizer to the pear sorbet we enjoyed every bite and will definitely go back.

I gave a gift card to my daughters and their husbands for Christmas. It was their first time at The Jimmy and they just raved about the experience. Great food, great service. My son in law said that we must all go back the next time they are in town. Their happiness made me very happy.

This was my 2nd time dining at The Jimmy and will not be returning. We had out of town guests and I had made my reservation 2 weeks prior (2 adults, 3 teens). We arrived for our 7:15 reservation and were told unapologetically that they were overbooked due to an Open Table booking error. They had a large private group dining inside so they could not accommodate us in the main dining room as per my request. They put us out on the porch (it was in the 40’s that evening and it was freezing. We had to dine with our coats on. 1/2 the heaters were shut down because they were apparently broken. Seems to me that would have been a better place to seat yourself ‘large party’.

We were then told by our server that they were out of mushrooms (due to the large party) and therefore 2 things were off the menu. Last I observed in the grocery store, mushrooms are not in shortage. The appetizer selection is very limited and were very disappointing. It took an extremely long time for our main courses to arrive (again they said due to the large party which was apparently it was only 8 people). Maybe it wouldn’t have mattered if we were comfortably enjoying our wine but we couldn’t wait to leave we were so cold. Our main courses arrive and we had to eat them very quickly so they didn’t get cold. They were also very unremarkable.

I get it’s the holidays and understand that there are times when you might want to accommodate a large party but don’t do it at the expense of your other guests. I don’t want to hear that my evening and that of my guests is being compromised because of your large party. If the kitchen can’t handle it, you should t accept the reservation.

Furthermore when you call to confirm a reservation you may want to forewarn people that they will be seated in a frozen tundra and may want to dress appropriately. Coats and boots would be recommended.

This was my first time at The Jimmy. I like the atmosphere and the bartender was great, but the food was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the Tagliatelle and my friend ordered the Funghi pizza. I found the crust a bit chewy. My friend had ordered it before and commented that perhaps a different chef was in the kitchen that night. I dined at Zio the night before and found their food to be better. That said, I'll give it another try. Perhaps the kitchen was having an off night.

Enjoyed the beet and goat cheese bruschetta and the mushroom pasta. Service was good as well. Looking forward to returning.

Homemade pasta with sauce and a chopped salad with a nice glass of wine at an affordable price is hard to beat. Jimmy's is always reliable for a good meal in an energetic atmosphere with fantastic service.

Our last. Hidden gem in Myers Park with Valet parking if the lot is crowded. Service and food was excellent!!!

Amazing service, staff and food! Truly our favorite spot. Stop in early for Aperitivo and stay for dinner after! SO GOOD.

Friday night dinner. We started with the grilled octopus and butter beans. The octopus was excellent, perfectly cooked. Somewhat of a disconnect between cold butter beans and hot octopus. Not sure if that's the way it was supposed to be. Pappardelle with brisket ragout was tasty but not striking. The pasta was well cooked. The ragout was rather plain. The pasta with house made sausage was great. The sausage could not have been tastier and again the pasta was perfectly cooked. A super dish. I will order this next time. The delivery of the mains was very slow, but the asst. manager came by and visited and was very pleasant. We will be back.

Easy, casual neighborhood place to enjoy some interesting Italian good. Good Italian wine list.

The service food and ambiance was wonderful. The whole fish, delicious as well as the shrimp pasta. The fried gnocchi was chewy and a disappointment. Nothing special, fatty and bland. Have been several times and will be back.

The atmosphere and service were excellent. The food was good (my husband and I could not decide if his penne was slightly over cooked or slightly undercooked, but it was tasty regardless). The noise level and the prices were a little higher than we would have liked, but we will be back.
