Would like to go back and have their lobster roll. We only had a few oysters on the half shell and some drinks. The biggest downfall is the size of the restaurant, very tiny… Service was great though
We had the best pre Valentine’s Day dinner. I loved the lobster roll. The crab & avocado salad was divine. Great wine selection. I can’t wait to go back.
great food and terrific service. the owners and employees were all extra personable. fun ambiance
Charming spot with delicious and fresh seafood. The couple who owns it makes you feel like you are in their home. Very reasonably priced and will definitely go back.
We arrived at 730 for our outside reservation for 4. We were very excited because the menu looked similar to 167 Raw but they took reservations! The waiter/hostess was nice but reported they were very busy and asked us to wait. We waited outside the restaurant on the sidewalk until 8:00, then offered a seat inside. I asked for the wait for outside as we didn’t feel comfortable inside with COVID precautions, but the young waiter said he didn’t know about our reservations outside (so just be aware of you make reservations the system may not be linking with open table). We all reluctantly ate inside. They gave us a bottle of champagne for the wait which was nice. The tuna tartare was very good! The Connecticut roll was okay, the lobster meat tasted frozen, but delicious bun! They were out of oysters unfortunately. Not socially distanced inside but it’s small so they can’t help that. The staff did not wear masks, they pulled them up occasionally but for the most part didn’t wear them, including the kitchen staff when she’d come from the back, not safe during a pandemic, but it was hard to leave once we ordered and realized. Of note, the prices are higher now compared to the menu on open table. Definitely a “cool” hangout spot and less for a dinner type place. Made me feel old being there (lower 30s), but the young people inside seemed to be enjoying drinking! If you’re in town for a bachelorette or bachelor party I’d recommend it, but we would not necessarily go back for dinner and surely don’t recommend if you have health concerns/older because of COVID.
Food was good but service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even asked our drink order. Place is tiny just a few tables so it’s not like they didn’t see us. We were about to get up and leave when someone finally took our drink order. All we ordered was a salad and a lobster roll, which took almost 40 minutes to come out. The food we did get was delicious. Not sure if I would go back though.
Just got home from a delightful dinner on The Jetty’s charming outdoor patio (with heaters). They offer oysters, shrimp, and three versions of a lobster roll. We tried the New England and the Connecticut and absolutely loved both. They use fresh brioche buns from Saffron Restaurant & Bakery (I ate mine and finished off my hubby's). The tuna tartar was the perfect complement and served with tasty blue corn chips. Be sure to check out their frozen drinks menu--we tried the Frose and the Frozen Espresso Martini and both were perfection. Loved the use of the elegant coupe glassware, juxtaposed with the side of potato chips. Just the right balance of class and comfort. We can't wait to go back!
The place is cute and food was good also.
But nobody care about Covid. The place was packed a most people didn’t have masks.
Also it was a Saturday night and some courses were not available.
Great food and awesome service
Very loud and hard to social distance in the small space. Food was really good but super small portion for the price- not a place to get a meal but perhaps ok for just a small appetizer. They did not have any oysters due to delays in shipments.
Cozy spot with lovely, attentive owners. We had the oysters, crab and avocado salad, and tried 2 of the lobster roll styles - quality ingredients prepared deliciously. Can't wait to go back!
Great little off the beaten path restaurant that's run by a great proprietor. Very customer service driven. Has a limited menu but a really good product at a reasonable price.
Cozy bar.
A bit pricy the reason for 4 stars.
Waiter very attentive
Very clean and comfortable
Great spot in downtown Charleston! Delicious food, amazing service, and great happy hour deals! Will be frequenting in the new year!
Amazing little find right next door to our AirBnB at 71 Spring Street. The Connecticut style Lobster Roll was just what the doctor ordered. I loved the oysters and they sent out an ice cream cookie sandwich at the end for our anniversary. Super sweet - loved the patio outside. Will def visit again!
Enjoyed our first visit to this off the beaten path locals spot. Maybe not the best or biggest lobster roll you’ve ever had, but the bun was fresh and the lobster tasty. We’ll definitely go back.
Delicious & plentiful lobster rolls. Our crab salad was way overpriced for the measly portion of crab in it. Neither of us drink & there was not a single non alcoholic option for us. We drank warmish tap water. There should be ice tea or soda or bottled water for this price point menu. Service was great though & atmosphere outside was nice.
The crab, avocado, and grapefruit salad was very good - dressed nicely with a vinaigrette, and sweet, flavorful sections of grapefruit. The truffle lobster roll wasn't very impressive, I had to ask if it WAS the truffle one since I couldn't smell any scent of truffles at all. They brought me some more truffle oil in a ramekin, which helped, and also gave me a use for the roll that was twice the size and amount of lobster. I'd guess it might be a 4 oz serving, on a huge steamed, not grilled or griddled with butter, roll. With kettle chips on the plate, it's a lot of starch with a tiny bit of protein.
The staff is nice, if slightly clueless like asking if I wanted to sit outside, but as a party of 1 I was limited to indoors - which I already knew when I made my reservation online. Then I heard them offer that same table outside, which I already knew was "reserved for a party of 4" and then tell those people they had to eat inside too. I could have told them that in the first place. Not cheap for not the greatest food or atmosphere - the music was way too loud for me, and even though they turned it down without a problem once it got busier it was turned back up. The place needed to be dusted, I could see it accumulated on the windowsills, and the mirror, in the dining room.
Awesome food and service. Tuna tartare, lobster roll, and NC oysters were all excellent.
Love the Decour and atmosphere. Very Nantucket vibe. I have been previously and the food was 100% stellar! This time, they were out of the mignonette vinegar for the raw oysters but regardless it’s hard to beat such a good happy hour deal ($1.50/oyster). Connecticut lobster roll was delicious as usual!
Great little hid den gem in Charleston. Lobster rolls were awsome.
Eugene did a great job. We ate outside in the rain. The food was great. Drinks were strong. We will definitely be back.
Great little spot. Cozy atmosphere. We had a perfect window seat.
Wonderful little neighborhood gem! Lobster roll and clam chowder were excellent. The nicest people own this restaurant and service was great.
