The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant offers guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
Delicious food and excellent service as usual, warm blankets available upon request which makes it great in the cooler days
Lovely spot by Tower Bridge.. food amazing - outdoor covering could be improved.
The staff were so helpful to make this birthday lunch special. They were attentive polite and friendly and ensured the experience was COVID secure without us really noticing. Great location and now looking forward to the indoor dining experience!
We came for my birthday, and considering we are outside because of covid it did not disappoint, we were very happy, food amazing and staff were great
We had such a lovely night - the main reason - heating outside and the fantastic service from the staff. Second to none. We choose to go to this restaurant every single time we go to London - it has become a highlight - the staff excelled themselves on Monday night which was cold and very wet but you'd never have known. They couldn't have done enough for us. Oh yes - just so you know we'd a delicious meal too! Well done all in such difficult times. We will be back soon.
The Portuguese lady I cannot remember her name, was very lovely. She took care of me as I have a nut allergy and made sure she did all she could to make sure I was safe during my visit. Thankyou very much for a pleasant evening !
The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful and the view is just unbeatable
Good view and nice atmosphere. Service was very quick and food was okay
Good covid policies Food was excellent cheese soufflé followed by sole. Lovely heated terrace. Great lunch with views to Tower Bridge
First time visit and can’t wait to go back! Not the cheapest but so pleased with the portion sizes and the customer service was 10/10
The tables are very squashed. Not the usual amazing Ivy service.
Lovely table overlooking Tower Bridge. Very effective heaters. Delicious food. Only disappointment was the mark-up on the wine otherwise 5 stars throughout
Fantastic location with views of the city and Tower Bridge. We sat outside where there were patio heaters. The food and service were excellent. Would definitely return.
From start to finish it was amazing
Gorgeous day out and great food / service! Loved it!
Great spot, bridge views, lovely terrace area, & not too crowded.
Service was exceptional.
Varied menu - good food priced fairly.
Food was a bit cold and the bread is very overpriced, but all good aside from that.
Lovely evening here, all staff very friendly and welcoming and excellent, attentive service. Live music on the side too which was a nice touch. All very covid secure and hand sanitiser on every table.
Lovely meal, great view- lovely staff, would highly recommend .
Amazing service, noted my allergies, and food was amazing
Very welcoming. Great seating and some new items on their brilliant menu!
I loved Ivy tower bridge restaurant, but it was very chilly outside. Although it was given blankets and heating was on, it was not enough. Besides, it was everything perfect the food and staff are amazing. I really recommended.
We where seated outside the heaters didn’t work properly it was quite cold outside
The most friendly, slick and efficient service ..
cocktails were superb..
As my experience the previous week hadn’t been as good as it could have been, I was contacted by Mattia the assistant manager after that visit and he welcomed me on 29th April. My friend and I had a complimentary glass of Prosecco and Mattia came over several times during the meal to ask how things were.
That was very good service and I thoroughly recommend the Ivy Tower Bridge.
Beautiful food & setting - only not 5 stars as the service were quite rude in their insisting we order quickly to get more customers in which let it down sadly.
We were seating in the corner and it was very cold, the heating should go all the way to to the end of the seating area as the area at the end is the coldest. There was another couple next to us and they came and left before us. It made the dinner very unpleasant because of that.
Excellent service and food. Never disappointed. Recommend.
Lady who served us was amazing!! So lovely and helpful and really made our experience so special.
The Ivy are doing their best to accommodate outdoor dining but in wet windy weather its no as enjoyable as usual. We felt rushed as we were reminded a number of times about our 1 hour 45 minutes limit. I will be back but waiting until they open indoors
Excellent location, food and drinks
I spent a really nice afternoon with my friend. The weather was really poor but they provided us with blankets and heaters.
I will definitely come back!
Turned up 30 mins early at 11.30 to an empty restaurant. Weren’t allowed to sit down for a coffee and wait for our friends as that would have started the 2 hour clock on our table. They said it was because they had other reservations- were they going to call the next group and ask them to come 30 min earlier? Of course not - stupid
Served wine that was off. When we told the waiter they offered a different wine to taste which was great. Then they brought the original wine back!
Lovely waitress though
We booked for 11am to have breakfast, as the restaurant informs you here that breakfast is served until 11.30am. When we got there, we were told that they only have all-day menu and that they are not serving breakfast. There were at least 3 other tables who were there for breakfast, and they all left. When you complain about this, they answer you like “we are not aware what is on Open Table, sorry. Period”.
Apart from that, the lady who serves us was so RUDE, she was answering our questions on the go, she sounded like she did not care if we stayed or not.
In addition, they did not put a note here that dogs were not allowed, but insisted that there is a note here and told us we could not be seated. They only let us sit on the very corner (almost under the rain) and said this is one time only.
Rudeness: 10/10. Accomodation: 0/10
Great Cosmopolitans; wonderful fresh and tasty food; impressive ambience and a fabulous venue for lunch on a summer's day.
We had a very happy post-Covid lockdown lunch on the terrace at the Ivy. The service was excellent, and the food delicious especially the cheese shuffle, teh chips and the apple tart. It was so good to be out and about again!
Everything was amazing! The view incredible and the staff super friendly
Great and thanks so much for letting us bring our well behaved dog!
Despite the Covid restrictions, the staff handling our dining experience very well.
There were outdoor heaters under the umbrellas and the tables were reasonably spaced out. The food was delicious. Can highly recommend the chocolate bomb for pudding.
As always food & service excellent however had to ask to change table was right at the end with no outdoor heater & no kind of structure to shield from the wind. Apparently they are thinking of putting some kind of glass or Perspex screen. Needs it.
Had a great time, weather was a bit nippy, but that’s due to not being able to eat inside yet, so that totally understandable.
