Food was good, service was poor, drinks, starters and mains all arrived at the same time. We had to wait a long time for somebody to take our order and the same when we wanted to settle our bill. Good location plenty to walk around and see.

My friend and I booked for a birthday lunch after visiting ‘SuperBloom’ at the Tower of London. We arrived an hour early but the staff were very accommodating allowing us to sit in the bar, whilst a table was found for us. We received complimentary cocktails as it was our birthday’s which was a lovely surprise. Food was absolutely delicious, our waiter was friendly and professional and we received the most divine tasting and huge chocolate Profiterole with a candle for our birthdays. The table had a two hour limit but the staff kindly relocated our drinks back to the bar where we sat for a coffee. All in all a really lovely experience and we were very well looked after. Will definitely return. Thank you Ivy Tower Bridge 🙏

The ambiance was good, but the service was lacking. The servers didn’t really keep on top of the tables and the guests had to keep asking for things.

Food and service was up to the usual high standard. The only down side is the portions are relatively small so you can walk away feeling like more needed. I had a prawn cocktail and shepherds pie so the traditional route and neither are that filling so maybe was the choice made. Its great location sitting outside with tower bridge and tower of London as a backdrop and nice as a celebration location. As with most places its drink and sides which push it from being £40ph to £80 ...but its a great cocktail menu ! House wines i found very good and £25 not silly price.

Fabulous food. Slow service. Was sat for ages before drinks order taken. Had to ask for water 4 times before it came. Some waiting staff totally ignored us when we called them. Food was absolutely out of this world. Great value for money. Lovely table overlooking the Tower.

Very disappointed the service felt very disjointed. None of the staff came across happy there was a member of staff who was very aggressive which made the atmosphere very uneasy. Food average ordered sea bass literally that is all my husband got on his plate so order sides. Been to the ivy in other areas they were amazing this not. Sorry I would like to give some positives but cannot find any

Sitting outside was beautiful and the afternoon tea food was to die for. However the service was terrible, we waited a long time for anyone to come and take our order, and when we received our teas we were told they would come back with the milk and no one came back at all! We had to try and get someone’s attention to get milk after our tea was already getting cold. Not attentive at all but the food and champagne were great just disappointed that such a posh establishment had such lack lustre service.

Very poor service - the waitress was unpleasant (no smile, no interaction) and kept ignoring our table despite being right next to us where the ordering screen was located. We ordered 4 afternoon tea sets, 3 teas were served fairly quickly, one tea arrived almost towards the end and after multiple reminders. The food arrived only after 40 mins without any explanation or apologies. Only the bill arrived almost immediately after asking.

Overall, lovely afternoon tea at the Ivy, Tower Bridge. However, beware of the "extra charges". We were given three slices of sandwiches, and were told to ask for more if we wanted to. At no point were we told we'd be charged for those extra sandwiches! And was pretty shocked at the additional £18 on our bill! The food however, was lovely and I'd really recommend the French cocktail too :-)

This was an underwhelming experience. I’ve dined in quite a few Ivys’ and I never thought I would say this about an Ivy restaurant, especially as I raved about it to friends who were experiencing an Ivy restaurant for the first time. The service was slow. We waited ages for the bread basket and starters and when the waitress was told we weren’t happy, she didn’t seem to care or ask why! Anyway the service improved when a lovely gentleman started serving our table. The food was average.

I booked a table outside for our anniversary- to start with the waitress who saw us to the table did not even speak to us. The waiter took our order then we didn’t see him again. The starters came but I’d asked for bread while we have a drink. This did not appear until we had finished our starters. Our plates from the starters w are you left on the table and then our mains arrive. A different waiter had taken over at this point and tried to put the mains down with the starter plates still there. I’d like to say we have eaten in a lot of Ivy restaurants and this was the worst service we had ever received. The tables are too close together and you can hear everyone’s conversation. I won’t be visiting this restaurant again and actually it ruined our anniversary. We had travelled straight from a family funeral so this as not the best day ne to our day!

A very important evening for me bringing a prospective customer to dinner. Unfortunately, it felt like we were just left a lot of the time and 3 times during the evening I had to get up and ask for things. We were left with spent glasses on the table for 40 minutes plus wine glasses that were not to be used. We sat with empty dirty plates for 20 mins also. I went to get the wine cooler and bring it to our table because I got tired of Looking at my guests empty glasses and trying to get somebody’s attention to serve. I spent the rest of the evening serving them myself.
