   The decor of the place was cute and romantic, the concierge were welcoming and directed us to our table. However, once we were sat; a waiter overhead me and my partner speaking about what to drink so he asked the question and we requested a bottle of sparkling water for the table. IT TOOK 40min to arrive to the table and for them to then take our order. Now bare in mind we had a show to get to so wasting time was not part of the itinerary. Once food got to the table, it was unedible, presentation was good, but flavour was appetising. The duck salad was overpowering with Hoisin sauce, and the mash potato tasted of nothing other than olive oil. The peppercorn sauce was way too salty and ruined my steak. Further to us not eating what we ordered, they asked us three times about what our main courses were post order by four different waiters. It felt unorganised. All in all an experience we are not willing to repeat as we felt like it was both money and time wasted.

   Had a burger bread was very very stale, seemed like it was defrosted too long in the microwave, 2nd one wasn’t too much better either. Burger was also very dry, disappointing.

   Specifically requested it wa any dads bday and expected a treat for him and nothing was delivered

   Food was good, service was a little strange. Our server was fantastic but others incl the maitre d’ who greeted us were borderline hostile…

   Was a nice midweek meal and catch up. Food was the regular good standard you expect at the Ivy, but nothing special. Service was really good

   Service wasn’t ideal, seemed like we were forgotten a few times. Food was also not great unfortunately. Seems like I’ve had better experiences at other Ivy venues

   Perfect ending to a beautiful Mother’s Day. From the front desk staff to our waitress Jemma, everything was perfect! Jemma was very polite, patient and attentive just what you need when you’re ordering and waiting for your food to arrive. The restaurant was busy but ran smoothly and efficiently, with plenty smiles and nods coming from both staff and other diners. I’d forgotten how much I loved The Ivy and shall be returning more often.
