The Ivy Exeter is wonderful. The bar is a real showstopper, the interiors so inspiring and exciting. We had a sweet waitress from Rome who gave excellent service. The food need a little tweaking to be top notch and worth the money...which I am sure will happen as the restaurant team find their feet.

The food was excellent, however the toast with the pate could have been more like melba toast not toast that I would have for breakfast and the eggs Benedict were slightly under cooked. The staff were very polite and accommodating but they need to pay more attention to who ordered what meal, overall we enjoyed our visit and will return.

A truly amazing visit and a wonderful addition to Exeter. The restaurant looked stunning with its beautiful décor and soft furnishings. On arrival we were professionally greeted in a warm and friendly manner by the reception team, who were dressed in the most amazing uniforms. Our waiter, although new to the job role, worked extremely hard to ensure our needs were meet and it was a pleasure to chat to the management team, who introduced themselves and without intrusiveness coached and supported the new members of the floor team on ensuring the required company standards were met. The food was delicious, timely and presented beautifully. We ordered the Crispy Duck Salad, Steak Tartare and Minute Steak and each dish and its recommended side orders were faultless. We finished with the waiters recommendation of a Chocolate Bombe and Strawberry Sundae and these desserts can only be described as heavenly. The dishes were of good proportion and excellent value for money. The bar team were proficient, organised and like the reception team, looked stunning in their white cocktail jackets and bow tie's. The overall dining experience was exceptional and small touches such as lien on the table, hand sanitiser, great quality cutlery, glassware an crockery make a real difference. My wife visited the ladies bathroom and this was described as 'Out of this World' and after reviewing the pictures that were taken to support the statement, I can honestly say that I have never seen a restaurant bathroom look this good. The gentlemen bathroom was functional, clean and my only criticism would be that it would have been better to have been located upstairs and I would recommend some signage at the bottom of the stairs or on the door. Our bill was delivered promptly, when requested and we we received a warm farewell by all those we encountered on departing. I highly recommend the restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

The food was amazing and our waiter Harry was very good, he made us feel very welcome. The decor and lighting is well thought, stunning to look at. The cocktails are probably the best in exeter, we had a great time, Thank you! I'm definitely going to recommend The Ivy to my family and friends.

Food was amazing, the price was definitely reasonable in relation to the quality of the food. Service was good. If I was being critical, we didn’t get asked if we wanted a drink when we ran out for about 10/15mins once. Apart from that it was very good. Will be visiting again in the not so distant future

The food was so tasteful, the service was amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful but not in your face. I loved the decor and we were made to feel very special.

Great decor, pleasant atmosphere, attentive service (sometimes a little too attentive with drinks being taken before they were finished), and the food was very good. A great new place for Exeter and is clearly the best restaurant in central Exeter. I'd happily recommend it to any family or friends.

The food at the Ivy was epic and the service was even better. The range of choice on the menu worked for the whole family and my wife, who is a vegetarian, really liked the fact that there was a separate menu. Well done to the Exeter Ivy! Truly fantastic!
