   We had a lovely time at our celebration meal at The Ivy in guildford! Our waiter went out of her way to make sure we had a great job ( i think her name was niamh) and yas also made sure we had a great time by even giving us a complementary glass of champagne to celebrate! We couldn’t recommend the Ivy enough - my only downside was that we had to pay £5.50 per bottle of water for the table which we didn’t realise wasn’t free as we would’ve been perfectly happy with tap water!

   I have to say it is always good when we come for breakfast. Filter coffee is always hot and served with cream. Waitress/ manageress very friendly. Abby was a delight.

   The service is not great, we had the grumpiest server who clearly doesnt enjoy her job! This was a birthday meal for my mum and it was just average, nothing special and with a bill of over £600 we expected better. When the food arrived some items we placed on the table without the accompanied sides, here's your steak just wait 5 minutes for the rest of your meal!? The service was also very slow, about 4 tables came and went in the time we were served 2 courses. The restaurant itself is lovely and the ambience is nice, it just could have better service. Also the group menu isnt great it was a Sunday and we would have preferred the Sunday Roast menu or the A-la-Carte menu so overall it wasn't a great experience for us. We all left feeling very meh and disappointed with it all....

   Always a good choice if you are in Guildford. The location is excellent and of course the ambience is typical of an Ivy. Service here is exceptional and food very good too.

   The food and menu here were great and my family really enjoyed our meal, all choosing very different things. The service was good, but it took a while for us to get someone over to take our dessert orders, and eventually to give us the bill/take payment. Unfortunately our coats came out of the cloakroom smelling like BO. Otherwise, really positive experience and would revisit for the food.

   A lovely meal, but it was frustrating that I had to chase up my reward points when they were not added to my account following the visit.

   The environment was lovely and the waiters pleasant. I was disappointed that having arranged this tea as a birthday treat for my friend (and mentioned this when I booked online) , no recognition of the birthday celebration was made by the restaurant.

    Lobster pasta is brilliant though not cheap. Staff service was great
