   We visit the Ivy and Ivy Asian regularly all over the UK and always find the standard high.

   I'm a big fan of the Ivy restaurants and this was my first experience with the Cambridge one. It absolutely held up to the rest. The truffle aroncini starter and the scallops next with a side of tenderstem broccoli were superb. My dinner companion enjoyed her wine and salad. Altogether a lovely, festive meal.

   Husband had to return his steak twice. He asked for medium rare and got well done then the replacement steak came blue and cold. He ended up getting a burger. Pretty disappointing evening, you would think when a restaurant is charging £40 for a steak they would at least know how to cook it.

    The tea itself and service were excellent. Presentation spectacular. However it is the first afternoon tea that I’ve experienced where I was charged for additional pots of tea - very disappointing.
