Absolutely delicious food and elegant service in a cafe atmosphere and at affordable prices. We had never before eaten dishes of such a high quality. Also very friendly, and they gave us something special for a birthday.

Food & attemtive service excellent. Relaxed staff attitide & ambience. Set menu prices very reasonable. Also good to have the choice of an Asian menu. Decor exotic & seating very comfortable. We usually go between 5 & 7.00pm as not too crowded then.

Lovely lunch experience. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was very good. interior is beautiful - especially the ladies bathroom! The fixed price menu makes it possible to have a little luxury at a very reasonable price for no particular occasion. Felt like a treat but didn’t break the bank. We went on a Tuesday at 2pm and it was lovely and calm and chilled but still had atmosphere. Looking forward to making it a more regular thing!

I love Ivy and I always go there with my friends..and whenever I book my table I requested window seats and I am getting all the time ..this time somehow manager was new or what he didn’t give me window seat though the restaurant was empty ..and I can see he can easily give me that table but he refused though when I booked I specifically asked that..that made me sad..otherwise it was good experienced..

I took my mum and mother-in-law for a birthday meal however the service was awful. There was 4 of us and only gave one menu for the food. I had to chase to get the other menus. Then only provided one spoon for our deserts which I had to chase for again. The manage did say they were very busy however this isn't an excuse for poor service. Apart from this the food was good.

A truly special & lovely meal at the Ivy Blackheath to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious (we had the sushi, vegetarian dishes, & amazing desserts plus oh goodness those cocktails were fantastic!). The waiter & staff were really helpful & not bothersome & very kind. Love the atmosphere there & such amazing food. Fab that the menu is change regularly & such a lovely variety. My favourite restaurant in the village.

Unfortunately our experience was a but upsetting as one of our party is highly allergic to bell peppers which was stated at booking and the waiter was told at the point of choosing our starter, it then was served with said peppers.

Lovely restaurant but too dark, so couldn’t read the menu. Duck curry a bit disappointing but edible. Calamari amazing as was soufflé. Desert good. Wine expensive.

I booked lunch for my husband's birthday here. Easy to book, a warm welcome and lovely interior. We had the set lunch menu, which we very much enjoyed. I was impressed that the toast that came with my pate starter was hot, that doesn't often happen! Our waiter (Andrea?) was friendly and always appeared just when you wanted him to. I was impressed that the food and drinks were good value and couldn't have been improved on. I will certainly go back.

Have dined here before and would dine again and again. Always a great place to eat, a welcoming smile and greeting on arrival, table service was excellent and advice given on some of the meals when asked what would be recommended between certain meals. Waiting service frequently came to ask regarding the food and whether we required further drinks and it was polished off nicely with a lovely ambience which always helps the meal digest well. Total value for money.

Took my husband here for our anniversary, he loved it (I had been before, but it was his first time). The food was gorgeous, hot, tasty and plentiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back!

Waitress forgot a few things, butter for toast, plate and knife for pastries. Bacon so ‘crispy’ it was like leather. Toast not browned at all just stale feeling. Wasn’t asked if we wanted brown or white toast. Most disappointed with breakfast. We are fairly regular customers too.

As a regular visitor to the Blackheath branch, I always enjoy my Ivy experience, especially the food, but I would prefer to receive a few fresh vegetables on my plate instead of just a small bunch of cress. The service provided by the staff my opinion is first class, being not only very professional but friendly too. The ambiance is extremely inviting and comfortable, albeit some of the tables are too close for comfort, especially with noisy neighbours.

Unfortunately there was not enough staff that night so that the service was poor. We had to wait too long a time for our main meal to arrive My husbands meal arrived cold and overcooked so we had to ask for his meal to be taken back and off the bill. They did that and reduced our drinks cost so we were pleased they did that. They apologised for their error.

Food was satisfactory but service could have been better. Wine did not arrive until after the first course and coffee at the end of the meal didn't arrive at all - but still appeared on the bill! Wine list would benefit from more reasonably priced wines. Overall, a safe and reliable place to eat.

A lovely welcome by the lady on the desk.. even commented about it being my daughter’s birthday. Shown to table which was a little out of the way considering I’d booked a week before and requested something special.. waiter came and we ordered drinks and water for the table.. Took so long that another guy approached and asked if we’d ordered.. he wasn’t that friendly.. the water arrived and poured felt like it was out of the hot tap..when the other waiter reappeared asked if we could get some cold water and ice.. surely bottled water should be kept in a fridge! Food was decent and as it was brunch we didn’t want a sweet.. however I would have liked one of the small cakes for my daughter that I’d read about in the reviews from other people on their celebration..
