Lovely restaurant with beautiful views. Food was outstanding! We loved it so much we booked an anniversary dinner party for the spring.

The atmosphere and service were great. There was a price fix menu and all plates with the exception of the pork were good. The main course was uninspiring and disappointing. My husband said his steak was good however. The dessert, wine, and crab tomato bisque were the saving features for me. We have always enjoyed the brunch.

Despite a busy New Year's Eve, the Inn at Brookville Farms did a very nice job on both food and service. The fixed-price menu ($59.95 per person) had a nice selection for each of the four courses, and the vegetarian in our three-person group was accommodated very nicely for each of the courses, including a delicious carrot-ginger soup for the amusee bouche. The food was very good and the beef came medium rare, just as ordered. The wine selection was more than adequate and not too expensively priced. Our waiter did a very nice job of pacing the delivery of the courses and did not ask about coffee until after dessert was finished (a plus in my book).

Let me start this by saying that the food was OUTSTANDING! Had it not been for the meal, this would have been a bad experience.... When we first arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us with a large party not once, but TWICE! Two different groups of over 10 people we didn't know. Very strange! We had a reservation and she kept checking their reservation system - yet - still mixed us up with two other large groups (it was only my wife and I). Once we got to the "correct" table, we were greeted by our server. We ordered our drinks and off he went to go fetch them.... Not more than 60 seconds later, we were greeted by another server - who eventually became the server we had for the rest of the night. Very bizarre! After all the initial confusion, we settled in for our meal. My wife had the mussels appetizer, I had the scallops. Immediately - the night was saved! These starters were PHENOMENAL! Four our main course, I had the lamb steak, she had the butternut squash ravioli - again - the meal saved the day! Fantastic food. I am willing to give it another try and hope that the confusion was related to nothing more than it being Christmas Eve and that next time all will be better.

We made an early reservation after an early Christmas Eve Olney Theatre show through Open Table, but had to wait a half hour to be seated despite the restaurant being virtually empty. The meal was quite good, though a bit salty, but one chair at our table should have been replaced as the seat had a substantial sag in it. The room was rather chilly as well. Next time, if we return, we will aim for a later seating time after the restaurant warms up and is more ready to receive diners. Also, considering this is presumably an expanded older house with hardwood floors, it would be nice if servers were advised to try to be lighter on their feet.

This is the most sophisticated restaurant in the Olney area. Very fine dining with good menu selection. I would recommend for any special occasion in the area. If any area was open for improvement it would be a refresh of the dining room decor, as there is an amateur mural on the wall that just seems out of place in such a nice restaurant.

My husband and I went for dinner and was placed upstairs in a odd room in the corner, smelled like an old bedroom. The food came out so fast that we were in and out in about 1 hour. Service was moderate. The only thing that was excellent was my main dish. Appetizer and dessert were just ok. When it comes to the wine glasses they were old and dishwasher stained. I spoke to a friend about it and he said the same thing, he went the same weekend with his family and had the same experience. Very disappointing.

This is the second year that I have gone to the Inn at Brookeville Farms for Thanksgiving and I have enjoyed it both times. In fact their turkey cutlet is some of the most moist, flavorful turkey I have ever had. I also like the way the restaurant is broken into smaller rooms which gives it a more family like feel for a holiday meal. For those of us who are making this a tradition, they may want to consider a little more variety in the menu from year to year, especially the starter.
