Covid Friendly, great food! Would recommend dining in or outdoors in the new igloos!
Good dinner not much was open causr of covid
Excellent ambiance and our waiter was excellent. The food we ordered off the short menu was wonderful. A great quiet hideaway!
Remember, if "Pub" is in the name, don't expect anything but bar type atmosphere and bar food.
Great food and service. Nice and quiet. I had white king salmon and my husband had the ribeye steak....so delicious.... especially the dessert we shared... Tiramisu
The food and service were outstanding. Perfect neighborhood gem!
I could tell that the food was different than I have come to expect! Hopefully they will get the chef back soon!
It’s too cold. It was difficult to settle in and enjoy dinner and drinks.
We came to enjoy MJ Riemann playing piano and singing in the bar. Unfortunately I didn’t specify that’s why we were coming in my reservation, but the staff was super nice about getting us a table when one came available. And I am a vegan, there wasn’t much on the menu for me, but the manager and kitchen really went out of their way to give me a beautiful and delicious veg plate. We had a wonderful time!!
It was good once they fixed my friends fish dish. It was her birthday. The lamb sliders were great and the salmon artichoke dip was heavenly.
Our group ordered multiple delicious dishes but the highlight was the perfectly done Risotto. We were also quite pleased with the attention paid to us to be sure we were enjoying our evening. The bartender was knowledgeable, friendly and offered information on multiple wine options. Very nice evening!
The food and service were great! We had a great evening, would definately come back!
Our experience was mixed, several of our meals had issues, i.e. wrong vegetable, undercooked seafood, tasteless sauce. The waitress was not helpful, and was actually rude. I’ve eaten here several times but this was so disappointing that I won’t be back.
It was cold and it took a long time to get a drink and the place was empty as we ended up in dining room
the only couple and the bar was not busy so I don't know why it took so long we had one drink before
dinner and ordered one to have with dinner and never get it. So I would think if you would turn the
heat on and have some people to tend to the people eating dinner that cost $80.00 dollars plus a tip.
We will not be coming back.
We stayed at the hotel and the convenience of the location of the restaurant was the reason to go after a full day of travel. We ordered clam chowder soup, burger, oysters, wine and a few salads. Everything was as if it would be in your dive in bar. The service was OK. The place felt dark and outdated.
I think that the Inlet Tower's Pubhouse has the absolute best Scotch Egg I have every found. A superb pairing with a wide array of beers offered there!
We had two children with us. The service was so slow that my son had to leave because one of the kids couldn’t be patient any longer. We had to take his meal home. This is not a place for kids, but given that, it was so terribly slow that the adults were also running out of patience. The poutine was terribly salty. The hot wings were fine. My salad was supposed to have strawberries. They had to go back to the kitchen to get some for me. The drinks took forever also. The bill came to $200 and we left feeling deflated and disappointed. We won’t go back.
Food was delicious, the plucking guitar player next to our table was too loud and plucked every nerve in our body giving us a headache. The waiter was was slow and inattentive but rushed us and other tables to leave even though it was empty inside and only 7 PM . We decided it was time to leave when he started vacuuming so I guess he was in a rush to get us out of there.
The food and service was great. Note! website is obsolete - the menu no longer matches.
The service was fantastic, but the kitchen could work on their timing.
Saint patties day corn beef cabbage was great rockfish was great scallop appetizers were great wine was great had my vodka of choice we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
What happened to this place? It used to be an Anchorage gem. My wife and I visited last night to find our favorites on the menu had disappeared, we didn't recognize any of the familiar help (one man, who said he'd only been hired two days ago, was dismissive and seemed annoyed when I asked where I could check in for my reservation). There was a square ball jar on the bar filled with what looked like bilge water with a single olive at the bottom. Ick. Atmosphere was dingy and something was just "off" about the place. This was dinner time but none of the few patrons had food in front of them. Definitely not the fun, upbeat and welcoming place it used to be.
I reserved a table for 6 ladies. They were very friendly. The food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. We did not feel rushed to leave.
This is my 3rd time here and I’m always satisfied with the atmosphere and staff.
I ordered blackened rockfish. The rockfish came out without any seasoning at all. I pointed this out to waitress and she apologized and offered to replace it with something else. By that time I was full from the calamari appetizer, which was excellent. She did remove it from our bill.
Tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. Also has an Appy Hour.
The server made a face and complained when I wanted more olive juice for my martini, and he never brought it. I had to hunt down another server to get it. My husband ordered another drink more than once- it never came. The server told us when the bill came that drinks had been removed from our tab. They had not. We were there with a party of 6 for NYE & really expected more. We had been to Pubhouse for other special occasions and never had this type of treatment. Because it was a large party, we were autogratted- which feels like that’s why the server didn’t appear to give a care at all. We will not be back.
I loved this place and the old menu. Its lost its appeal with new limited menu. Wont go back....makes me sad.
The food was delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you!
We had dinner prior to the symphony. Our server was very attentive and efficient. The wine we requested was unavaile, so the manager upgraded it for the same price. Our meal was well prepared and delicious. Ambiance is lacking, but clean and comfortable. I would recommend a mote appropriate sound track for background music.
Marginal service and so so food for open table. First miss I have ever experienced using this app
The Pubhouse used to be a hidden gem. My wife decided to go there for her birthday with our daughter and son in law. The gem is gone. We arrived and were not asked for the reservation name but were shown to a table by the bartender. The waitress greeted us, gave us menus but never offered us beverages. She took our orders which included salads, soups and main courses. The soups were warm, not hot. The salad was like a Costco salad, dumped on a plate with no care. Leaf stems were not cut and it was not tossed. The bruschetta was equal parts onions and tomatoes. Strangest one ever served. The fries were stuck together. The steaks were over cooked and then not hot. The kail was not stemmed. The waitress was just not trained. A nice person but not professional in any way. We will not be back but I will check tomorrow to see if management has changed. I will bet it has.
Overall poor experience. Zero atmosphere, bad food and worse service. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
Wonderful staff! Celebrated a birthday here! Food was delicious and the overall atmosphere was great!
It was enjoyable. You can go fancy or in jeans. There could be more food choices but we both found something.
The food and ambiance were excellent, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The front of the house, however, seemed very new (miscommunication/mistiming of dishes, cocktails made incorrectly, etc.) but eager to learn and to please (sending the bartender to our table to make sure they understood what we were expecting to receive). I will certainly be back, but I hope they've invested in some training for their waitstaff and bartender.
I wasn't impressed. My steak had no flavor...I had to ask for salt. The fingerling potatoes were hard/kinda chewy. Again no flavor. Calamari....NO. Dry rub chicken wings were ok. They didn't have the ingredients for the drink I ordered, so that was lame. Our waitress/server seemed to maybe have hearing issues so communication was a bit frustrating. Overall I was not impressed at all. I didn't even want to take my leftovers, but when you spend that much on a steak....my husband ate the leftovers not me. The best part of being there was my company, I was with my amazing husband.
Our food was mostly good. The scallops were cooked perfectly although I felt the price was too steep for only two actual scallops. Our friends ordered steaks and one was way over done and one was underdone. They chose not to request new steaks as the service was very slow. We have lived in Europe and are used to a slower service but this was exceedingly slow. The waitress was attentive and very nice. I’m fairly sure this was a kitchen issue. Would I go back? Doubtful. The bad equally weighed with the good which kind of makes it a wash.
We came here for mom's birthday. The fish and chips were a little under cooked, but everything else was delicious. We shared several appetizers: blue corn calamari, tenderloin tips, (unflavored) chicken wings, and humus & bread; it was all very good. For main courses we ordered the rib eye, seafood risotto, lamb shank, hamburger, and chicken; this was all very good too. Good selection of beers on tap, although ran out of the moscato for the bday lady which was a little disappointing.
Would definitely come here again.
Great food, good service, great atmosphere
We started coming to this little gem when Daniel was the chef. The outstanding food brought us back again and again. We returned after a long absence and thought to give the new chef a try. The lamb Shank was the best I had ever eaten, though the King Salmon my wife had was disappointing. We went back for Lamb Shank, and decided we were done with the Inlet Tower Pub. The lamb was dry and tough and at 30 bucks per plate, it felt like a hard lesson learned in terms of where not to go. The appetizer was good, as was the dessert, and the service simply outstanding. It is a quiet place (which we love) but the entree's are inconsistent and mostly poor. Too bad, as it was once our favorite local restaurant.
