    The restaurant is the place to dine at when in Georgetown You’re greeted by very friendly staff. We sat at the bar for a drink and enjoyed a nice conversation with the bartender When back to secure our table. The manager was aware of who we were and seated us at our table. The server (Taylor) was well informed and presented the menu items with clarity and made recommendations which turned out fabulous. Try the baked oysters and scallops Both were Outstanding. The Independent recognize my birthday (7/4) With a very nice appetizer Manager was gracious and attentive during the dining experience Cannot miss nothing the Peaches and ice cream for dessert ENTIRE staff and food selections were outstanding!     Excellent meal and service! Filet and King Snapper was delish! Hummingbird Cake is to die for! Our server, Natasha, was top notch! Great personality!

    We were celebrating our anniversary and were looking forward to a great experience. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service;however the food was very disappointing. My husband’s fish was overcooked and dry. I ordered the scallops with mushroom medley with bok choy. My entree arrived with 4 tiny scallops that were also overcooked and just super salty. I should have sent it back but the restaurant was busy and would have spent too much time waiting for our server. For these prices we expected better quality food. We loved the hotel and will be back but will definitely dine elsewhere.

    Nice to come to a restaurant that understands the proper way of doing things. This is a great addition to the Georgetown restaurant community. Food delivered promptly and at correct temperature.

    We had an 8pm reservation and didn’t see appetizers until 9:15. Entrees followed quickly at 9:30pm after notifying our server that we’d have to leave soon if we didn’t get our entrees soon to relieve our babysitter. Another table let us know that they didn’t get their entrees for two hours after their reservation time. Our server, Hunter, was fantastic and super apologetic. He even got back in the kitchen to help move things along, and he sent us home with desserts. It seems like this place has a major operational issue because our group has experienced this before, as have two other friends on separate occasions. I think their “order every course at once” may be the issue? Maybe they need more hands in the kitchen? Do they use tickets for each station or go off memory for what the expediter calls? I don’t know, but with entrees costing $36-40 each, we won’t be back until they figure out how to serve people in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, a pretty space and nice servers doesn’t compensate for the insane wait time. Food was mostly good. Could use a bit more seasoning on the local catch set.

    She crab soup was not good. Brussels sprouts were burnt not crispy. Scallop entree should be classified as Tapas. Steak was good . Desert peaches were cold almost from a can. Hummingbird cake was good .
