   We went two nights in a row because we were staying at the George Hotel for a couple days and wanted dinner to be easy! The first night we were very underwhelmed by our service and food, almost so much because we nearly cancelled our reservation for the second night. However, in so glad we went back because our food and service was excellent the second night! Thank you to our kind waiter (Natasha?) for being so wonderful!!!

   We went for my husband’s birthday. They had a gift for him waiting at the table which was nice! It was an early reservation so not too many people were there. Our server was training another girl that night. We were offered free cornbread which was ok. The first time I ate here the cornbread was heavenly so it was disappointing that it didn’t taste the same. We had the halibut special. The fish came out cooked perfectly but it was missing seasoning, I had to ask for salt. Overall it was a good meal. Unfortunately we weren’t presented with a birthday dessert. On the bill we were charged for the free cornbread. In the end we will go back because we like supporting local businesses.

   This is our fifth time here. Came today to celebrate Mother’s Day. Restaurant was very busy as expected, but think waiting an hour to get food is a bit long. My biggest concern was our food was cold. Kitchen staff needs help!

   Terrible acoustics. Tables so close together rendered conversation untenable. My Crab Louie was basically an Asparagus Salad. Mere minuscule flakes of crab meat, soggy arugula, four shavings of radish, barely a teaspoon of avocado and half a pound of raw asparagus. A very disappointing Mother’s Day Brunch. Never again.

    We had Blue Crab Fingers, Blackened Swordfish with mashed potatoes and blue crab and the fish special; whole Red Fish! From drinks to dinner our server Hunter did a great job and was a great conversationist!
