* The Iguana Restaurant is an open-air restaurant, that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and serves contemporary Mexican cuisine in an elegant ambiance. Retractable walls take advantage of gentle coastal breezes and crystal chandeliers add soft light while water dances in the adjacent courtyard fountain. The dining room wraps around an outdoor patio with shady palms and another central fountain. In between is nestled the boutique Tequila Bar, serving a wide array of top-flight tequilas and mezcals.

    Music or noise from adjacent church was obnoxious during first part of meal. Ultimately Iguana mariachi group performed and was quite good.

    My first time to the Iguana, and the food, the service and atmosphere was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning for another wonderful dining experience.

    So romantic and tasty. Be sure to try the squash blossoms and short ribs dishes. Very delicate and flavorful.

    One of the most spectacular views you will see in Puerto Vallarta is right here at this amazing restaurant. The mariachis made the whole scene amazing. This is the first time in visit. The entire place was packed with people. It appeared like some conventions were in town, but it was an amazing night and something. Everyone should experience when they come in Puerto Vallarta.

    This is a beautiful location and worth the visit. We have been several times however the prices continue to rise and the quality of the food is mediocre. The service is good, however there are other places with ambiance and better food especially for the price.
