We ate dinner there, and then breakfast the next morning. The dinner menu is rather odd. It is rather limited but includes venison sliders and octopus, but not a hamburger or traditional sandwich of any kind. We were disappointed in the choices and the quality. The breakfast, on the other hand, was very good. Service was very good during both. Not much atmosphere, but clean and contemporary furniture. Keep in mind it's in a hotel I guess.

We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was since we were the only ones in the restaurant. I don't know if it normally isn't busy when we visited, but I would definitely dine there again.

I don’t leave a-lot of reviews, but here you go: Absolutely Horrible. I went for first time for my birthday, with family and friends. I thought from what I saw online of restaurant pics and the guy describing how they local source everything it was going to be great…. We arrived at 6p and was so disappointed, from the time we walked through the “key hole” entrance into what looked like we entered a “Cafeteria”. The ambiance was lacking everything a high end restaurant should. “My mindset was saying , “this can’t be it!”. At 6pm on a Saturday, we literally we the only people there… what the heck?? We sat down, I asked the waiter for bottled water. He brought us the plastic store bought bottles…. At any high end restaurant bottle water means , Evian, Perrier, Aqua Panna, etc. I ordered the mushroom risotto, it was so bad. The risotto was still crunchy and dry. It wasn’t creamy and full of flavor. I sent it back. My family order the smash burger and fries. It was decent. I do appreciate our waiter, he was the only one working that night and he tried his best. This was my first time and more than likely my last.

We enjoyed a meal after Symphony and ate on the patio. I would have been perfect if the cars, trucks and motorcycles were quieter. Too bad. The food was great and service wonderfully friendly.

We got to the restaurant at 6pm. We had a show to get to by 730. We ordered drinks an salads right away. It took 25 mins to get salads. We placed meal orders when drink came about 5-10 mins after ordering. We left the restaurant at 715 as our food had not gotten there and we had very little interaction with anyone during that time. Poor service and extremely slow food turn around. I was very excited about trying this newer place downtown and was unfortunately let down. Will not be back. Also multiple other couples complaining out loud of this same service and slow food turn around while there. Another couple left after not getting food as we did at the same time as they were going to show as well.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely staff and delicious food! Such history too-which was fun after spending the week at the track! Open table said we could only get a 5:15 reservation though. And we were literally the ONLY 3 people dining on a Saturday night from 5:15-6:15!

I PRE-paid for a Mother’s Day Experience. We didn’t get waited on for over 30 minutes, even though there was only 1 other table of people in the entire place. We didn’t get a drink menu. The food options were subpar, definitely not worth what we paid for the “experience.”I felt bad for my dinner guests because it was all really horrible. Would give zero stars if it was an option. Would’ve asked for my money back if that was something I do…

The food was good but it took over 1.5 hours to get our entree. They said there was a mixup with our order… they hosted a Mother’s Day “experience” and it really bummed us out that it was such a bust. Not enough staff.

I’ve been to the Hulman a few times and it always had been on point with food, however, my most recent trip was a bit disappointing. The menu was extremely basic, the sauces lacked flavor, and it appeared the night we were there they were out of many items on their already small menu. There was a lot going on downtown Indy the weekend I visited the Hulman which may have contributed to this, however, I feel the menu overall lacked depth this time compared to my other visits. Our server, Charles was amazing though, and because of this I will definitely be back to give the restaurant another try.

We are from out of town and came in for a quick bite before our concert at Gainbridge. The staff was courteous and helpful with timing to get us jn and out with great service and the food was excellent. Thank you

Entrees include 2 sides, however, the first 2 sides we tried to choose, they were out of. Seemed overpriced for what we got. Small hotel restaurant without a lot of privacy between tables.

This was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Ive never written a review before. Restaurant was barely crowded but took 45 minutes to get drinks to start. One person asked for a cocktail and the waiter came back (45 minutes later) to say he hadn't gotten the chance to talk to the bartender about it. Food took another nearly 30 minutes. The only bright side was the mashed potatoes, very good. Too bad the steak was not and it took the waiter ten minutes after the food came to bring the special butter for everyone to with it.

Pickled salad was fantastic as well as tiger shrimp! Upstairs lounge was load but great vibe. Breakfast on the 6th floor was slow but we were not in a hurry and staff was super apologetic. Will definitely return😊

The main entree items were very good. Chocolate cake was dry and unimpressive for $10. Servers were attentive as they could be, but they seemed to be short-staffed on a Friday night...and the place was not very full.

This was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. The charcuterie plate looked like items from the grocery story - a piece of wheat bread cut up, sliced cheese from the deli, and some grapes thrown on top. Aside from presentation being terrible, the food was a joke. Our main courses were also a laugh. As soon as the salmon was put down you could tell it was over cooked - it almost looked like it had been cooked a day before. The sides were gross literally disgusting. Because it was a business meal, I didn’t complain but will obviously never return. The fact the there were only 5 other people in the restaurant the entire evening makes me believe that this was not a one off experience.

The web site indicated they offered Valet. When we pulled up the rep stated they don't valet for the restaurant. The service was very slow. It took an hour after we ordered for our dinner to arrive. Four were dining two meals came out then it took 8 minutes for the other two. The salmon and pork were good. I ordered the $38 airline chicken... it was literally the size of a chicken tender. Probably 3 $ worth of chicken. for $38 dollars.... My carrots were cold. When we indicated we were ready for our check, it took another 20 minutes before we saw the server with the bill. The server was very nice just not very attentive. For these prices we shouldn't have to ask to fill our water glasses. Our bill before the tip was $283.00 none of us felt it was worth the price.

$1 oyster Tuesday as advertised everywhere I looked was no longer an event they held. Many menu items were not available and the waiter had to guess what items were available not on the menu. Service was great but the disorganization of it all made me feel bad for the waiter.

We had reservations and arrived a couple minutes early but we were still sat at a table of our choice immediately. The entire staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable of the choices and drinks available. Both of our entrees were simply amazing! My date had the filet mignon and I had the southern soul food special and I can’t get over how amazing the food was. The steak was cooked perfectly (med-rare); the couscous was simply the best I’ve ever had; the cream spinach was spot on and very tasty; the fried chicken taste like it just came out my grandmothers iron skillet; the green beans were extremely flavorful and even had pieces of ham hock that gave it the homemade home run; and then the carrot cake was truly the icing on it all! Can’t wait to return to Indi and dine here again.

The restaurant was fantastic six months ago, but has clearly undergone a dramatic shift. The menu is now just a super basic pick your protein and two sides and a sauce. Our food was okay, but far below the quality of our last visit. The service was poor. We had a reservation but were seated by the doors to the kitchen in a largely empty restaurant. Our waiter was trying his best, but didn't seem to know the menu. It was a Saturday night at 6pm, but they were out of several things.

Unfortunately this place seems to have gone quite downhill since it opened. I first visited about a year ago, and since then the menu has now been very reduced (now it only offers pick a protein, pick a side). I ordered a filet medium-rare - it tasted fine, but was very over cooked. Not even a hint of pink. I told the server and he didn’t do anything about it. Dinner for two, with 1 appetizer, 2 filets and drinks ran to about $200. The servers were well meaning, but it was disorganized and no one really seemed to know what they were doing. We waited a long time after ordering a drink at the bar while they had to go fetch various ingredients, and we ended up with a warm G&T with a few melted ice cubes. Also it has a very small wine and cocktail list. Hate to leave a poor review, but they really need to step up their game and unfortunately I won’t be visiting again.
